Would you rather go 100 years into the future or 100 years in the besr

Video games have been pretty accurate in terms of predicting the future, so the would would be something like in Battlefield 2142.

Have stuff in the present that is valuable and sell 100 years later to get more money and buy the best pc parts in the future and come back to the present and use it for gaming. I would also want to see how the changed in 100 years.

I know the past. It is generally not too pretty. The future though, I can see the conglomeration of a thousand small steps in the right direction making the future a better place to be. Hopefully.
