Its a pity that by design, the really cool looking stuff is mounted upside down. But oh man I didn't know a graphics card could be something of such beauty.

Bought some stuff these past couple of days, One Punch Man Vols. 6 and 11, I don't think vol 12 is available yet in my neck of the woods. Since the loss of my LG V20, I've been trying to make do with the audio from my Xperia Z5 Premium, it simply lacks the power and clarity of the V20, so I'd no choice bu the get the LG G6. Also bought a 200GB mSD card and a couple of cases for it, had tempered glass screen protector mounted as well.

The main reason why I went for the G6 instead of waiting for the S8/S8+, the G6 simply has better audio.....

Just got myself this cheap VR headset/gear knockoff so i can watch videos handsfree . Heard good things about it , let's hope it isn't crap.

I don't know about how it affects the eyes tbh . I 'll still be using my phone normally most of the time , so it shouldn't be an issue.

Spent around 4700€ during the last fortnight and the bill didn't even include a single computer-related item..*sigh*

 

On the bright side - I'll be moving into my first completely own flat next week-end (not counting the shared flat during grad-studies), so the money went towards:

- an entire kitchen including all necessary tech equipment

-a new bed (6' x 6'6", because why the f*ck not :D

- a big-ass L-shaped couch

My most recent purchase was a motherboard from a Dell OptiPlex 780 MT. It is coming with a Core 2 Duo E8500 which is a chip I've never played with. It will be the highest clocked CPU in my house. and will be used for server duties to replace my aging OptiPlex 330.

Why 780MT? I've seen 9010SFFs go under $300AUD, which is cheaper for the whole system than a Haswell Xeon..

I have the same HDD :D. Its a really good HDD. Though I upgraded from a dying Seagate 1 TB HDD. I got lazy so I just left the dying HDD in there unplugged with the new one

The 780 is cheap these days. $20 USD for the motherboard (which is DDR3 BTW) and a Core 2 Duo E8500. I just love the Core 2 Duos and I can't really spend more than that.

Yeah. :D Tbh, WD Blue is a fairly common HDDs. Most people I know use it. :P
