Got a nice deal on Amazon. Finally more mobile storage and speeds (my old Cruzer Edge 16GB feels so slow compared to it).

Just got a Corsair K70 MX Reds. Just got it, really like the reds, but the space bar texture is quite anoying. If I don't get used to it I will just use my Blackwidows space bar.

I just got me a new wireless access point. A much needed upgrade. I had a Linksys E3000 and I've had that thing for almost 6 years.

I upgraded to the Wirecutter's recommendation of the TP-Link Archer C-7 (v2).

I went from having 25mbps down over WiFi to 68mbps. I didn't think AC wireless would give me such a big jump like that. The "software" to set it up is super easy to use as it's all browser based and super straight forward.

 

The best part, I put it on my Amazon wishlist last Wednesday and bought it Friday and the price dropped $10.

BTW Corsair: Your new logo is FUCKING UGLY. 

If its anything like my K60 you wont be able to use the blackwidow spacebar because the bottom row spacing on corsair boards is non standard. I got caught out by this when i tried to use a metal spacebar on mine.

I love it so far. The only complaint I have with it is that the light effects freeze and I have to unplug it and plug it back in. Besides that, it works great.

Not really a tech purchase, so not so relevant, but... Bought some stronger-than-usual duct tape, "Panzerklebeband" (issued for tank forces of German military, hence the name)

Samsung Galaxy S2 for scale (tape is 0,5cm wide and 50m long, should last a really long while, plus it's strong as hell)

 

Plus bought some tight-fit gloves to make using my phone while wearing gloves easier than with current shooter's gloves (one size too big, so it's quite loose), but unfortunately it's non-conductive (and slippery AF), making phone operation impossible... gg
