Dude, you really ought to put a '0' in front of the decimal place, I was like, "What?! He paid $90 for those?!" Then I saw it as '$.90'.....

Meh.

No surprise here, latest purchase is a Philips Fidelio X1 which came with a stock cable and a 1.2m Plussound cable, cost me about 180USD for the lot....

A couple of observation, it's damn well made, there's a certain amount of craftmanship here, resulting in a very premium look and feel. I can decide what to make of the velour pad, yes, they're comfortable but man, they collect dust and lint like mad muthas. :o

And a new pair of snowboard bindings, which wont be on this board for long. They'll be switched to a board I am getting in October. :D Lib-Tech Attack Banana. ^^

Had to replace my motherboard since my cat wanted to play death a few days ago!

Edit:

My server board will be the Z10PE-D8 but god why Asus why! WHY GOLD?!

Now I gotta decide whether I'm going dual 6 core or dual 8 core.

Or get the regular WS-E and get a single 10 core.

I have that ,has slight coil whine. Considering selling it.

Fortunately mine didn't have any coil whine, but I found it to be incredibly noisy under load. Obviously 3 fans do make quite a bit of noise, but that was reference HD6850 cooler noise levels, which were just unacceptable. In the end (especially after receiving and installing my GTX960 today) I'm glad the card decided to die this quickly. The performance of it was great, everything else not so much.

I'm thinking of getting rid of it not because of the coil whine but I kind of want to downsize to mITX and it's probably not the best card for that form factor.

Its been quite some time since ive posted here. Yesterday I picked up something that I have been looking for on and off for some time. Unsurprisingly it is a mouse, specifically the Alienware TactX Mouse OEM'd by Logitech.

Anienware%20TactX%20Found.jpg

I also picked up the biggest and beefiest Glasslock container I have seen to date as well as a new water bottle.

A couple of small purchases for my cans, first, a JustMobile headphone stand..the base has two plates in between which you can coil your cable.

01_zpslclfzqpp.jpg

Base of the stand is covered with rubber, add the weight of the stand itself, make for a rather stable stand.

02_zpsm4ehz31f.jpg

Don't let the pic fool you, it's not the ideal height, it,s only a smidgen over 21cm in height from the hook to the baseplate, so only smaller sized cans, or cans like the DT990/600 can fit with the sliders on both side up all the way as in the pic below. Yes, you can coil the cable on the base below (between the plates, but it's not an ideal solution where you start coiling the cable between the plates would be a bottleneck.

03_zpscrtrf0xq.jpg

Bought a pack of self adhesive transparent hooks with 'Command strips' that won't damage the surface it is adhered to. Stuck them on the inside of my Omega stands so that my neatly coiled headphone cable can hang from it. this way, wehn I lift the headphone and stand, the cable is attached.....I hated when I lifted the Omega stand, the cable would dangle....

What keyboard is that?? It looks just like my Dell QuietKey I have on my desk

It's a QuietKey RT7D5JTW. Personally, I think it's the best membrane keyboard ever made. I had one 5 years ago for my second ever computer (and this one was internet capable) and it was beat to shit. I was looking on eBay, remembered it, searched for it, and snagged this bad boy for the astoundingly good deal (again, in my opinion) of $19.95. :D
