Posted July 4, 2014 I will give the kookie horse 8/10  here is my backyard squirrel So this is hard to rate as its low rez to fit in a gif. I am just going to rate it as I see it. So it seems kinda fuzzy (Due to low rez) The grass on the left is not really in focus and two of the frames the tail is not all the way into the photo. 5/10 I just do not really like it that being said its a kinda cool gif and a cool photo concept CPU Ryzen 5 Asrock B350 Pro 4 / MSI RX580 Gaming / RAM 16 Gigs Corsair Vengeance 3000 / HDD 1TB Seagate Barracuda / SSD Samsung 840 120GB / 500GB Samsung SSD / Case Urban S31 / PSU EVGA G2 750w / Os Windows 10 / Keyboard Corsair K70 / Mouse Razer Naga 2013 (Won it from Linus!! However, it would be better if it were sharper. 8/10 I actually quite liked it - nice and sharp, each one of the pins has it's own refelction (I'm just trying to rate it as well) Solid 9. Here's a picture I took down at the lake - it was my first time doing some night photography, and out of about 25 really cool pictures I took, this one was the only one even partially in focus Nevertheless, it looks pretty cool (the picture was taken in complete darkness with a 30 second shutter speed, but the light on the left is actually light pollution from the nearby town)
 There is quite a bit of noise though. Do you remember the ISO setting? Also, at 30 seconds, its natural to get some movement in the stars. The ships are probably not sharp as they will move on the water. 8/10 I really like the reflections you got off the ships. It would be interesting to see a shot where the ships and their reflections take up more of the frame A photo of some public art in Downtown Vancouver. I wish it was a bit sharper but oh well...: CPU AMD Ryzen 2700 X / Motherboard / RAM 4 x 4GB / GPU Zotac 1080Ti Amp Edition / Case Fractal Design Meshify C / Storage Samsung 850 PRO / 1TB WD Black & 2TB WD Green / PSU / Cooling Noctua / Keyboard Ducky Shine 2 / Mouse Logitech G700 / Sound O2 Amp/DAC & Audioengine A5+ speakers
 Looking like any ole snap shot with a phone. If the background wasn't there then it would have been much better. You could have even shot the image from a different angle. The street falling off in the background would have been more powerful. So I give this a 5/10. It would be interesting to see a shot where the ships and their reflections take up more of the frame Yeah, if I did take a picture of just the ships, I probably deleted it because it was really out of focus. It was hard to get anything focused in the pitch black of night, especially the sky. For some reason this picture looks like a sunset (it's still pitch black when I took it) but please excuse that blur.... Posted July 7, 2014 No offence but I do not get what the subject is and just do not really like this picture. In my mind any thing you take a photo of you should try and make sure you can tell what it is. and on top of that the focus is crap. I can understand why upliftsleet couldn't really tell what the image is (Now that I look harder I think it's a spring). His rating may be a bit harsh, but you're always gonna get all sorts of criticism if you post in a thread that's about critiquing pictures. We've all taken pictures, some may think its good, others bad, but it's up to you to enjoy it or not.
