how much space does your music take on your hard drives?

nanowatt

50GB on an external but I only keep about 4 on my phone at any given time because I'm not a huge music lover, I just like to have stuff to listen to when I drive otherwise I don't listen to music

I've got 66.4GB of music on my computer and basically all of that is on my phone too (I've got a 64GB micro-SD card in there and need to upgrade to 128GB). All that's missing from my phone is a few albums that I've just not copied across yet.

All of that music is average bit-rate of 128kbps MP3. Totalling 17892 songs, according to Windows Media Player.

I've done some in-depth testing with Foobar2000 and I CANNOT tell the difference between FLAC audio (downloaded direct from the artist on Bandcamp as well as other FLAC songs) and the same files converted down to 128Kbps MP3, so I see no reason to use higher quality codecs and bit-rates.

11.2GB in the music folder, probably more if I could be bothered to move the rest from my Downloads folder

Only 10.7 gigs. Would be a lot more if I could be arsed to rip my CDs (~350 albums). These days I mostly listen to Spotify only (non-stop sub since late 2009).

Varying quality on them, but according to iTunes (please don't hate me for using iTunes over Winamp, of Foobar, etc):

1039 songs

8.30GB

I'm missing a lot of songs though, that due to my limited internet over the past 4 months, I've not been able to acquire.

None, Its all on my NAS :P

My NAS stores 356GBs of music, which is about 10,000 tracks. But they are mostly not mine, as the NAS is used to store my family's music as well. I estimate that I listen to about 15-20GBs of it. (I'm not really into music much)

My PC:

I dunno, I have it spread across so many drives, I know I have at least a 42G folder and another that could be as big as 100G with music, not too sure, and I couldn't be arsed looking.  It's all 128 Mp3 if that makes a difference.
