It's waaay to hot!

Izaya Orihara

So it's waay to hot here in germany and I need a fix for that. Could anybody recommend me an air conditoner that is rather quiet, cools well, does not consume 10000 Watts every minute and costs less than 2 grands?

Thanks.

Hold up, you're complaining about mid to high 80s? It's been almost 120 all week here with power going out constantly. Go buy a fan or move to Australia then back to Germany and you'll be feeling cold there. xD

Just go buy a regular desk fan...That's enough to cool you off from your blistering 30C.

Why not just grab an interail ticket for a month, go somewhere colder and stay in cheap hostels for a month.

Why waste 2 grand on an air conditioner that's going to be useless for 10 months out of the year?

Suggestion still stands, I'll gladly trade weather with you if you want. Another 20C isn't that much worse, right?

When discussing Computer temps relative to Room/outside temps: quickly load up Google and search "convert X degrees Fahrenheit to celsius"

Google (x) c to f or f to c to make it quicker.

Anything over 19 C/ 66.2 F degrees is too much... I would die.

Or you just do the math.

F/1.8 -32= C

(C+32)*1.8=F

I like the weather. I do gardening in a more rural part of New Hampshire and the sun and warm weather (more importantly, the rain) are awesome. If it's too hot, a fan usually does it.

If it's too hot or humid out, I turn on the AC to 75 Fahrenheit to dry out the air and keep my server/drives from getting too hot.

This is what I picture Daylight Savings Time in the NA deserts being like:
