Never. I have dirt cheap electricity and I only put it into sleep when I go to sleep (because of the LEDs, otherwise it's silent enough to leave on overnight)

I sometimes drape a towel over the window if I'm downloading something overnight.

Funny enough, most times I shut it down are when I accidentally click on "Shut Down" when going to reach for the sleep button.  Anyone know how to change the default button on the start menu?

I don't update Windows, so no need to restart there either.

Everyday.

Never understood why you'd want to keep a PC on just for the sake of it, no matter how cheap the electricity is, I have solar panels and I still turn it off.

If your PC is doing something, folding, downloading or something like that sure, leave it on, but otherwise... why? It's just a waste.

Just alt f4 on the desktop and select sleep from the drop down bar :P

Open task bar options, start menu and power should be an option.

Depends, usually I shut it off every night. Unless I'm downloading a game or something, I typically let it download as I sleep.

nope, part of the problem is likely that I'm using 8 and Startisback.

I'll probably just make a shortcut and pin it or something.

Usually nightly for me. Helps stop me from staying up all night on it since it's a couple feet from my bed.

Really though it's just when I won't be using it for a while, so if I'm working the next day/going out of town for a bit/etc. Weekends I tend to leave it on. I have no sleep pattern on weekends haha.

I restart quite a bit when fooling around with hardware/software (ex over clocking).

Never say it's not broken. Everything is broken. Why? Because everything needs MOAR POWA!
