Been looking at options for my new office/gaming chair, and realized that LTT has done so many chair reviews that they'd probably design a fantastic option. Any plans for an LTT uberchair? With Secretlab now an official sponsor, could that lead to an LTT Edition Titan Evo?

i dont exactly see LTT hiring the people with the correct medical degree to design a chair that, other than being comfortable, doesnt ruin your back.

designing a chatr that;

- is comfortable

- is healthy to sit in

- is durable

- is somehow still affordable

is exceptionally difficult.

case in point; i've been shopping for a new chair for over a year...

Office outlets/resellers (places who buy "old" office furnitures and sell them), good quality chairs won't even care about the couple to few years of office use after which they are either thrown to a landfill or sold to outlets. The best is of course manage to find a company in the middle of their changing cycle and manage to buy their old stuff directly (I got Martela (basicly Finnish Herman Miller) 200x80cm standing desk and all the way adjustable memoryfoam chair for like 120€ and their price as brand new was easily over 2000€).

I wouldn't see LTT making a chair. Getting it actually right is hideous project if you don't have experienced crew working on it and I don't see LTT making some half-assed gaming chair.

(IMO gaming chairs are like the racing seats you can get for your Prius, do they look racy? Yeah, but they have nothing to do with actual molded racing seats even less with truck seats that are made for someone to comfortably sit on them for hours straight. They are even priced the same, to look expensive when you compare them to IKEA but still a good deal when compared to the good brand office chairs.)

Pretty much my thoughts. Chairs are whole different level from clothing and even screwdriver or backpack. Plus, shipping would not be possible outside of Canada and returns and warranty would ruin whole company very easily.

I have said this in all threads asking and/or complaining about chairs. Don't buy before trying. Buying blind means you end up with something you most likely don't like and can't easily return. Same goes for other things that have effect on ergonomics, mainly mice. LTT should emphasize this more in their chair review videos. The one where Colton had actual professional help to setup chair was step to correct direction. But after Taran left the company, there isn't anyone who would be constantly aiming for better ergonomics. Also, remember this video from Gamers Nexus. Still holds its place for anyone thinking of blindly buying expensive chairs.

This. Just search for "shipping" in any LTT Store thread. Now picture shipping chairs.
