Lets share our "not recommended" things that we do to our computers. (Inspired by video about slicks build)

Don't remove your graphics card until after you've removed the 6pins.  Shorted out my 660 :(

1. Getting a Western Digital hard drive (external or internal)

2. Leaving side panel open near desk near kitchen countertop. I spilled a can of soda on a moving fan.

3. Eating near a PC. Spilled noodles all over KB.

4. Playing soccer near PC. I smashed my front bezel in half.

5. Keeping 32 bit drivers on 64 bit OS. I screwed my current PC doing that.

6. Repeatedly saying 69 over and over to my PC. Let's just say some dildo decided to stick his genitals in a fan.

7. Letting my brother handle my PC. Man, he has such dangerous hands.

8. Drying hair near a PC.

9. Ragequitting on the PC.

10. Letting a 3.5" hard drive dangle over CPU cooler.

EDIT: All of this happened to ONE computer.

I wonder what had to happen so that dildo would hit a pc fan... That pc had on hell of a life :P

I haven't got all my motherboard screws in because the Hybrid Cooling Solution on my motherboard covers one of the holes and I didn't realise this until I had already fitted it.

Yeah, my brother's dildo started bleeding afterwards.

So you say that your brother put his d*ck in to the fan in your pc? That must hurt...A LOT.

And it did. We had to send him to the ER to have it fixed.

Do not stop a falling case with no back panel using an ssd :D especially if you have a large motherboard cutout.

Dont try to pry a laptop's keyboard keys. Now the spacebar is ghetto stuck by sticky tack on the sensor so it can work.

Don't have your cables bulging to the point where your right side panel is warping. :D

I did that in my old case but in my defense there was a super small amount of cable management. (the In-Win mana 136)

I never dust it.

Ever.

I had a blower-cooler GPU that I never dusted for years, then I got the idea to blow compressed air into the vent on the back vent. Enough dust came out of every seem on the shroud to make me cough for 5 minutes. Should have held it further from my face.

I once installed a mobo with double sided 3M tape and rigged it into place with Expansion slot covers in an Antec 900.   At the time I had a really old P4 PC as my main rig.  The mobo was a dell board permafixed to the backplate tray. (reason why I couldn't use standoffs)

Ran it like that for a year without issue.  even took it to LANs a few times.

I have a 660 too :)

Never done this to any GPU but I've seen it done to a few graphics cards before.

I have my CPU waterblock mounted without a backplate and there's an NZXT fan grid stuck to the back of my motherboard.

Spill a glass of water on the PC. I'm glad the damping material in the Define R4 at the top did just suck it up!

It was water with taste of Pineapple, I did feel a pineapple scent for days while it evaporated!  :D

I might be psycho.

My hard drive is mounted to the bottom of my case with an adhesive strip. Also, the fans on my cooler are only attached with two screws because of clearance issues with my motherboard (too lazy to take it out and mount them properly)
