Used prices for the following?

- G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3000

- Intel 11700k

- Asus Maximus XIII Hero motherboard

eBay listings seem inflated.

Desktop: 7800x3d @ stock, 64gb ddr4 @ 6000, 3080Ti, x670 Asus Strix

Laptop: Dell G3 15 - i7-8750h @ stock, 16gb ddr4 @ 2666, 1050Ti

Make sure you're looking at the sold listings, not currently active listings. People can ask for anything they want, but sold listings tell you how much money actually traded hands for those items.

Looks like the 11700k is going for about $200 and equivalent memory goes for between $50 and $70.

Aight.

Mobo seems to be going for $250-300 Canuckian, I'm surprised at the value it kept.

Yeah, after a couple generations the high-end parts are still sought after by people looking for budget performance. Just look how long X58, X78, and X99 stuck around.

Mid-tier parts generally lose value faster, and the low end pretty much trades for scrap prices because nobody wants it. (Compare the venerable i7 2600k to a nearly identical i5 2500.)
