It's always interesting to me how you can tell so much about a person, just by looking at their setups.  Some people are clearly making furniture out of egg crates and plywood.  Some appear to spare no expense on anything.  Some people videophiles.  Some people are audiophiles whose displays look like they're clearly an afterthought purchase after they already maxed out the budget on everything else.

Some people put thought into their lair and have sublime accent lighting.  Some people use it as a place to showcase their geek bounty.  Some people can't even be bother to hide their fappenings.  Some clean well and care about composition before taking photos.  Some clearly can't even spell vacuum.

It's just interesting.

Reason for my mess is it's in a shed and it's tucked away in a corner, sometimes I have to move it so I can use that part of the workbench to do stuff like building carburators, working on small motors, working on metal, woodworking, painting things, soldering...
You name it, I've probrably done it aside from building an automotive engine or trans on the bench so it kinda stays that way.

I'm always doing something out there.

My main rig is in the main house (z840, 2x 2596v3 processors) This is the garage / half finished section of the house. It's heated and I'm out here most of the time. If I set up my 1000W sound system in the main house my neighbors would complain because of the "thud". Hence, this is the only place I can play it load and work on cars / automotive stuff at the same time. I have a wood burning stove behind me in case it gets cold. This was my grandfathers desk for his work for the strategic air command and has sentimental value. Out here is function before form, that's for sure.

Early thrift-store 2000's computer case. Every panel has been modified. Motherboard has been flipped to the LEFT side of the case. Added glass to the side panel. Computer case was initially orange/black, and halloween themed for an casemod event from a different tech tuber. All the temps are good. Never bothered to put the front cover back.

Monitor is currently on a swivel mount, so I can extend and 90-degree turn it to the right side. That way, it can act as a tv which I can watch from my couch.

Bedroom monitor has currently been replaced by a Samsung 27" 1080p panel.

Bought a Corsair Graphite 780t Black case a few days ago. Planning on putting my current hardware in that case. Still figuring things out to do a really low-budget but also really fancy custom liquid cooling loop, using my current AiO for parts.

Thanks! Yea I think it turned out nice. I knew I wanted to get the framed wafer after seeing an old GN video where they got one, but wasn't sure what to compliment it with until I came up with this. Fun fact, that giant HDD is from my families first ever home PC when I was a kid that I've kept all these years (over 20 years old at this point lol)

As far as performance goes, this PC is awesome and I honestly don't know that I'll upgrade any core components for a long time, pending part failure at least. What do you guys think?

Note: This aio specifically could not be top mounted and have the pump right side up, and I didn't want to front mount it so Ill settle for the 2 middle fingers that TT makes upside down lol

11900k, 32GB DDR4, RTX 3090, and three 4k screens. Main monitor runs @120hz. The display stand is an Ergotron DS100 that's supported four sets of monitors plugged into at least half a dozen desktop computers. Recently upgraded it with accessories to support the screen at the top.

Speakers are on tiny shelves above the monitor because they're hard to hear with cat belly in the way.

Seemed cool, I just buy things for fun. I’m gonna get the a770 16gb when that drops too.

I have a 3070ti I don’t use as a frame of reference.

The A380 has been on and off sale depending on stock for about a month now, it’s ok, it’s like a 6gb 1060

Hi all,

Here we have my "main" PC, I have another for the living room that is being modified to be hidden away. Both are built from mostly donated (or cheaply sourced) parts. This spec is;

Asus VE228 monitor

Beko TV/DVD combo, with a broken DVD drive

Fractal Define 4(?)

Biostar TA970

AMD FX8350 with stock cooler

2 x 4GB DDR3 1600Mhz Samsung RAM

1 x 8GB DDR 1600Mhz SK Hynix RAM

MSI GTX 960 2GB

Thermaltake 500w PSU, with RGB for added FPS

370GB Across 2 SSDs (these were bought new)

320GB HDD this is old, and will be put into the other PC when  I put my new Segate Barracuda in.

It has 2 optical drives in for added CD goodness.

There's a mixture of bulk wonder fans and some pretty good ones, a 140mm exhaust has blue lights to stop the FPS's escaping.

I have just got a new desk so I will have some space to maybe add an empty can of monster. To be fair to the machine I think all in I've paid maybe 50-60 quid all in, it runs everything I want and I've only rebuilt it once (in spring), I was running into an overheating issue, I made the rookie mistake of not repasting the CPU. Next I want to move to a Ryzen 5 build and try some watercooling.

Here's my setup right now.

CPU: i5-12600k (overclocked to 5.1GHz) I'm using one of the Thermaltake contact frames with it too.
Cooler: Noctua NHd-15
Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix Z-690 A
RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4-3600
GPU: MSI SUPRIM X RTX3070
Storage:
Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB (C:/ Bootdrive)
Sabrant Rocket Q4 1TB (D:/ Gamedrive 1)
Seagate Firecuda 2TB (E:/ Gamedrive 2)
Seagate Barracuda 8TB (F:/ Datadrive 1)
Seagate Barracuda 8TB (G:/ Datadrive 2)
I reused my Phanteks Enthoo Pro from my previous build, I like that case, and then I stuck some Phanteks RGB fans in there for shits. Monitor is an ASUS VG27AQ, keyboard is a HyperX Alloy Elite 2 and mouse is a Razer Deathadder Pro. My Macbook is an old 2014 15" Macbook Pro that I mostly use for internet and music. I really hope that thing never dies because half of my music software won't run on new Macs.
