I have a feeling that if every off-topic post was deleted from here, at least ~80% of the posts here would be deleted. And if that were to happen, unless on-topic posting was enforced with an iron fist, this current situation (majority of posts are off-topic) would happen all over again. It must suck for those who are here for the actual content though, but unfortunately there's not much that could be done.

Just be a man about it and say you're copying it because you like it. Anyway if that design is complete let us see it with some hardware mocked up inside it.

so, just because i went to sketchup instead of paper(because it was easier for me) you immediately think i copied someone, if it wasn't for @Charger giving me a link to (forgot what it was called) i would be stuck making stupid things, yes i found one that i liked, but no i did not 100% copy, some thing yes, but i did NOT copy it fully, and i told you that i would give you a design once the uploader was fixed which it seems to be now, give me a minute to find parts and put them in

I'd imagine that no one will mind limiting their "shitposting" and general discussion to this main thread, and it would maybe help newcomers and members alike keep on top of the discussions our club is supposed to be about. Not like this thread would die, or that the other thread would have to be as active and such. If we're still thinking about it, might as well give a shot, right?

Just so happens that I'm friends with the head engineer. 

 

Maybe I can convince him to get drunk and not care about the power distribution for the world's second most largest city(Davao City) by land area only not just metro/proper/population

 

*did I mention the city is the 4th safest city in the world. I can literally walk in the middle of the night in a shady alley without the fear of getting mugged. Well being a criminal in this city is a pretty bad occupation since there's a "mythical" vigilante group said to be under the Reigning mayor's thumb. But I liked living there, best years of my life so far
