Posted April 2, 2014 This ultimate build guide focuses on future potential. We wanted to explain and demonstrate the value of AMD's Kaveri series APUs' HSA-capable architecture, while also showing you how to build your own Kaveri gaming (or otherwise) system! I'm going to list out the components as well as provide a source or two for where you can get them I can't tell you where to buy this stuff, but I do lean towards NCIX for the Canadians (and International viewers if their pricing and shipping costs work out for you) because they're my bros, and for Americans, Brits, and a couple other regions, the Amazon links below are affiliate links, so of course every little bit helps CORE COMPONENTS APU (CPU & GPU): AMD A10 7850K Kaveri NCIX: http://bit.ly/1zRZhll Amazon: http://georiot.co/ByG SSD (optional): Samsung 840 Evo NCIX: http://bit.ly/UT8vhW Amazon: http://georiot.co/tZw Hard Drives: WD Blue 1TB NCIX: http://bit.ly/1pWDqSO Amazon: http://georiot.co/42Pi Motherboard: Asrock FM2A88X EXTREME6+ NCIX: N/A Amazon: http://georiot.co/20PF Case: NZXT Source 210 Elite NCIX: N/A Amazon: http://georiot.co/3bf3 Video Card (optional): MSI Radeon R7 250NCIX: http://bit.ly/1ocWYFV Amazon: http://georiot.co/2UHK RAM: 8GB G.Skill 2400MHz Dual Channel DDR3 MemoryNCIX: N/A Amazon: http://georiot.co/1jy4 Operating System: Windows 8 NCIX: http://bit.ly/1pBmF28 Amazon: http://georiot.co/lF2 Power Supply: Seasonic SS-400ET 400W NCIX: http://bit.ly/1ASGbwV Amazon: http://georiot.co/3IAw Cooling Components CPU Heatsink: Cooler Master Hyper T4NCIX: http://bit.ly/UT8UAJ Amazon: http://georiot.co/3UYg
 Posted April 2, 2014 @LinusTech Why didn't you suggest an SSHD from Seagate instead of the WD Blue, it's actually not that much more and is a good compromise between an SSD and a HDD. HDDs are just too slow these days. Posted April 2, 2014 this board is budget friendly and has the looks and function to boot I say its a good combo board for the A10-7850K No no I meant clean as in the aesthetics, it looked really clean, almost like there was nothing on the PCB not saying it's a bad board, I personally also feel it's a good combo with the 7850K,
 Posted April 2, 2014 ah gotcha basically I just listed all the parts which he have suggested and installed into the system would Sandisk Ultra Plus be a good value SSD? It really depends on your local prices. In the US, I'd get an Adata or Crucial. For only 5 bucks more, you can get an EVO which I'd get in a heartbeat. Posted April 2, 2014 as we have been told that RAM speed isnt important, but.. here it shows that it can be very important 10+ fps if so i will have to rethink my build since most 2400 ram cant be used with a air cooling solution EDIT: i looked into it, and seems its only APU builds that benefit from faster RAM Proud Member of the Glorious PC Master Race
 EDIT: I did not know you have access to DX12 (Star Swarm Mantle vs DX bench results). EDIT 2: So, we have the name of your new employee. Time to do some stalking.
