Do I need a new pc to protect my crypto coins from getting hacked?

I have decided that I'm going to invest all my savings in crypto coins, but I have 0 experience with crypto security. Is buying nano ledger x enough to not get hacked?

Do I have to buy a seperate pc for maximum security? Do you think it's overkill?

My budget is 300$ for nano ledger x and a cheap pc stick.

This sounds like a bad idea

Really depends on your security threat and how much crypto your storing. Id argue its probably overkill for most.

Assuming that you understand how to keep your seed phrase secure, yes.

Everyone has their varying ideas of the best security. I personally don't like that ledger or that type of device as it's too easily lost or broken.

For BTC I use bitcoin core and my password for that shit is insane. Downside to that program is it has to have the entire chain downloaded so that's about 350 GB of data so of you don't have a large HDD for mass storage it's prob not the best for you.
