I can fully recommend the Logitech G Pro Wireless. It's excellent in every regard. And if you want to invest some extra you can get the Powerplay mouse pad, so your mouse won't ever run out of battery while you also don't need a cable attached to the mouse. But even without that, this mouse lasts about a week in between charges and wireless is something i'm not willing to give up anymore.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Logitech G Pro, G502 Lightspeed for wireless - I'm looking into a switch fix for my G502 Lightspeed, seems like Logi is cheaping out on the click switches recently...

This thing I can't remember the name is a top contender right now...

You also have the whole set of Glorious mice to choose from - https://www.pcgamingrace.com/collections/mice

And don't forget to check this page out https://sensor.fyi/

Edit: Here it is, pending release: https://atompalm.com/

Planning on trying StarCitizen (Highly recommended)? STAR-NR5P-CJFR is my referal link

I agree with the above. Everyone recommends gpro wireless, however i had it and the Mamba Elite side by side and the gpro wireless was too small for my hands and i ended up keeping the mamba (also due to rgb lol). Many people would say bad decision but this was based my my hand size and needs.

I've always believed try mice like u try clothes before u buy them (or at least buy them somewhere u can return them to if they dont fit).

Found out they do a wireless version of the basilisk with infrared instead of mechanical so hopefully the switches will last longer

i doubt your current mouse even broke due to the switch breaking, the entire switch enclosure probably fell or moved inside. Switches last a very long time 2 years seems unlikely to me.

But that'll do. Enjoy.

You're out of touch on this. Switch failure is rampant with the Omron switches basically all the major gaming peripheral brands are using right now, especially it seems with the ones rated for 50 million clicks. Logitech, Razer, Corsair, they're all susceptible, you can find all the reports of failures easily with a quick Google search. I had a Corsair Ironclaw last year where the left-click started to fail in just 3 months, if OP got through 2 years each he's one of the fortunate ones.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

How do I fix it then?

First of all, he's probably wrong, as he seems to be unaware of all of the switch issues plaguing major gaming mouse brands recently.

Second, to fix it you would need to replace the switch or switches themselves. It would require soldering. Frankly on a mouse that's 2 years old I don't think it would be worth your effort, although it's up to you.

If you want to have a better chance of avoiding the aggravation of this problem, I suggest looking at a mouse with optical switches like the Roccat Burst or some of the Razer Basilisk and Viper lines, or look at Asus's gaming mice which have socketed switches that can be replaced without the need for soldering.

Consider what Middcore said above yes hes probably right, but before throwing the mouse away i would just open it up quickly and just have a look inside that its not something simple that has broken.

Logitech G403 HERO may be good for you, its size is something between Basilisk and G502 but it has same HERO sensor as G502, which is currently one of the best sensors on the market.

Either you love pressing space or you're from some place that speaks French haha.

I personally like very boring, basic mice, with a very simple shape and few buttons.
