whats going to be the cheapest verison of the 3090?

saif961

The minimum price will always be 1499$ usd. Currently the reference edition is the cheapest and that will probably stay that way. If price is a problem get a 3080 it's only 10-15% worse than a 3090 depending on the version you get.

Well then you'll just have to lower the settings. Also don't get a stupid high refresh rate monitor there is barely a difference between 144hz and 360hz anyways plus even the best gaming cpu on the market can only push those fps in esports games AND games that even allow that high of a fps in the first place.

Also 4k 120fps is possible but you'll want to lower your settings a 3090 cannot do that at full detail or near full detail in most games too.

.

best one for 1499 will be the asus tuf, but gl getting one, the card isn't really a 4k/120 card unless you plan on playing medium, it's more like 4k/90-100 on high-ultra.

OP save yourself the money and get the 3080. The money you save from not getting the 3090 would pay for your next gpu upgrade. 10-15% improvement isn’t worth and extra $800

Get a high end 3080 that oc’s well. The 3090 is 800 dollars more for 10-15% difference, so buying one is the definition of insanity unless you're filthy rich, and if u are that rich give the 800 to a worthy and reputable charity, you’ll get more satisfaction than u would a 10% fps difference.

A 3090 ti will likely come out next year, beat the 3090 and cost 4-500 less, so why fall for nvidias con?
