I wonder if anyone so far tried to get Intel to buy a AMD processor.

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

Honestly the 10600K is quite good. Not bad value and good clocks

Yeah, but I think it would be funny if, say, IDK, has james gotten one yet? Well if james was like, "Well this is cool and all, but can I have that 3800x? Its the same price as the 10600k, but is a better multi threaded chip, and is about the same on gaming."

I could use some help with this!

Hey Riley, any reason why you didn't wall-mount your old monitor above the UW as a secondary? surely it can come in handy?

Always enjoy these home setup videos (the ones that aren't just Linus replacing his TV with whatever the latest and greatest sent to him every 3 months is, anyway). Also props to Riley for specc'ing out a sensible machine for his needs and saving some cash, it's a refreshing change from the usual "excess because we can" approach to most of the builds on the channel (I mean, they did a video where the premise was "Whoever has the best current PC setup wins even better parts").

I couldn't help but laugh though, wondering if Intel was gritting their teeth at Riley using "only" an i5 and a B460 board, since their whole marketing pitch now is basically about conspicuous consumption and paying a premium to say you have the best performing gear by 1% whether you need it or not.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

So there are actually people in North America that have flats that look reasonably modern and don't have the typical cringy, artifical baroque flair/style where every door, piece of furniture and baseboard must be crested/ornamented. Thank you Riley.

That was a fun video to watch, I did wonder about piano storage like this (little video here)...unnecessarily complicated but might appeal to a minimal chap such as @RILEYISMYNAME ? And the bonus would be the likely electrical supply available, for a nice powered keyboard as opposed to 6 large batteries (note I have no knowledge of keyboards!)

Only had 45mins between jobs so apologises for the sparseness. 👍

Keep up the good work and congrats on the new human. 👏
