I truly don't understand why they stopped including the IR Blasters, it is such an amazing feature.

Probably just like the headphone jack, it's somehow "modern to remove those old things"...

I don't understand how the IR blaster is a crucial feature. What do you even use it for? When you dropped your TV remote into the deepest depths of the couch?

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Changing the tv channel while you're waiting at the doctor's office.

It's one less device. If you have multiple TV's in your home never have to worry about the remote

Lol the one whom wrote that article is hugely misinformed.
If one checks the top side of a Note10 plus its the axact same. And on theres its just the earpiece speaker.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

I could see it being a perk for robotics hobbyists. Granted, I don't think a megacorp like Samsung has the comparatively tiny niche customer base of specific-use hobbyists in mind when adding it, but, y'know, it might sway some potential buyers...
