People have favorite series, and like showcasing that in their custom PC builds (emphasis on CUSTOM)

 

Im going to throw it right back at you: what’s the point/allure of people having RGB in their systems?

because you want to show off your liking towards a certain series.

 

Basically the same purpose posters have.

Imo they’re quite tacky, but I can see why someone would want them to put personal style into their build. They all have the same art style however you can get characters from totally different content.

Because a Pop doesn't cost around $50. 

 

My D.Va Nenderoid looks leagues better than a D.Va Pop, but we can't ignore the cost difference.

I just don't see how people can think quantity > quality when it comes to aesthetics and decorating your space. When it comes down to it, Funko Pops are objectively hideous and there's a reason everybody mocks people that own more than 5.

I, for one, don't like the looks of those Funko-figures or the likes, but I would love to collect figures from e.g. Hot Toys, if I could afford them. They look fricking gorgeous.
