Originally it was 14 because i was 14 y/o back when internet/wifi started to become a thing

But when i was 16 I started to be more active on the web and online instead offline game etc and started to use the 16 for the new accounts.

My name is Dean and grow up with the Nickname Deano and whenever it comes to registering on forum etc, the name Deano is always taken so I decided being that (in my mind) I am "The Real Deano" I came up with the name DeRealDeano.

Nitroblast Digital was my old YouTube network name, however I got tired of that and use it as my username now. It came from the server hosting company, Nitrous Networks which I used to use all the time and YouTube network Forela Digital kind of combined.

Well, at the time I recently watched Terminator, the name 'Skynet' was in my head.

I came up with this name back in 2008, when ever I played cs people would most of the time oh my god when I killed them so that is where the omg part came from. I am black so I put it in and OMGBlackstar was taken on just about ever site so I spelled it with a 4 so I could get the name on psn and steam.

I had a Webkinz account when I was younger and I named a Black Cat I owned Witch, as I was young I also couldn't spell, so it turned out as wich, the 23 is also from Webkinz, the username I had picked (wich) was taken so it suggested I add a number to the end, to which I happily typed 23 because wich1 was taken and 23 seemed like the logical next move (123)

Kpaz - my first character name on world of warcraft about 8 years ago, the same tauren shaman in my icon. Came from randomly tapping away on the keyboard for a bit and it just stuck.

 

Stormstrike - from a spell that shaman can cast in the game. The name i originally used everywhere was Stormstriker (or Stormstryker if the former was taken) because i thought it was cool at the time. It eventually evolved into what it is now.

My natural name is pol, so it's lol I am pol, I came up with this name years ago when I was signing up for YouTube, but I never used it but now I do.

Fellas, I'm new on here and wanted to introduce myself.  I couldn't think of a better way to do that than give the history behind my user name, gamer tag, etc.

 

KernelKroniK - Pretty simple, its a word play.  Not only is a Colonel a high ranking military officer (relevant for games like BF4 and World of Warships) but a kernel is also a packet of computer information that is sent to another computer.  Kronik means something that happens all the time, as in chronic pain; I just spelled it like the word kernel with Ks, so its appearance matched all the way through.  So, bottom line, KernelKroniK means I am sending packets of computer information all the time, or, constantly gaming.  Some have suggested an alternate meaning of the term KroniK to mean a controlled substance, often smoked, illegal in most states, you know what I mean. Although I am not some tea tottaler or prude, that is not what I meant when I used KroniK in the name.  

 

So....BOOM!  There it is!  High ranking gamer that plays all the time OR KernelKroniK!!  Don't be jealous!

 

I am new to this type of forum.  I want to learn more about building gaming PCs so I can build my own.  I am tired of having other people do it and basically getting ripped off.  I want to know exactly what is going in my next machine, why it should go in and what is the best way to put it all together.  Being able to repair it or modify/upgrade it will be a bonus.  I want to get more creative than the typical; buy a big bag of parts all designed to go together in this one case.  Thats the same as buying a PC off the shelf.  

 

For example, I would like to use a large military ammo can for the case if I can pull it off.  I have a shop where I can do metal work, welding, drilling, machining, the whole nine yards.  I want to use the best of the best for components, at least up to the point where they make a difference.  I will not spend money on things that do not make my gaming experience better.  I am not out to impress people with the total dollar amount spent.  But I DO want the machine to LOOK cool.  I want LED lights, liquid cooling and things like the custom case I mentioned with custom painting and so on.  It has to look the bomb and play the bomb and I want to build it.  Being a rank amateur builder I will need some help, big time.  Hopefully you all can assist!

 

I am 44 years old; I live in North Carolina but I am originally from Maine.  I have been married to the same woman for 22 years, I have a 15 year old daughter and a 17 year old son.  My son and I like to game online with his friends and his friends Dads.  We all have a great time!  I am fortunate enough to have retired early and I want to spend as much time as possible with my kids and my wife.  Gaming is a common ground for my son and I and it is a great source of entertainment and bonding.

Wasps are pretty cool and the Vespidae are a large, diverse, cosmopolitan family of wasps. I took Vespidae, cut the ae, and here we are, Vespid (In some places : Vespid Wasp)

Another option was "Apocrit Ant"(same name origin) but wasps are cooler.

I've had a few Internet names. The first was Chambon... Sounds dumb but I was 7. Then I got Minecraft and chose Silver_leaf9. Silver- machines/technology, I like that sorta stuff. Leaf- nature, that's all. And 9 was just a number I plucked out of the air. That's now my secondary name. Charcoal_ I wanted something simpler, and I was still playing MC so picked charcoal. Without the underscore it looks a bit odd, like its not a username. Now I use Charcoal_ whenever I can, Charcoal_98 when I can't (Windows 98 ;D) and Silver_leaf9 everywhere else or as a second account!

I had many Internet names but I didn´t really like them. When I made an account on CodeCademy it gave me a random username: netbookninja205, so I removed the "book" part. now I use NetNinja205 or just NetNinja.

 my friends and i were a huge anime fans back in the day. we all had an alternate japanese name that we use online for mmorpg and forums

mine is shintaru oe,  a tribute to the anime character Kentaro oe from golden boy when i was 17 years old. I combined both the name and my age at that time.

shintaru17 is created when i was 17 years old. im 27 going 28 in march.
