512? What does it related to binary clock?

512 is just 29 and I've been using binary enough to have memorized the powers of 2 up to 213 = 8192.  512 is the highest 3 digit power of 2, and all the low numbers of randomGuy had been used (I have the same name on reddit etc.) so I just went for a 3 digit one.

In case you didn't know binary is base 2 counting, meaning that it can be read like this:

23s  22s  2s   1s

0     1     0     0                          =4 (1×22) in decimal

Just like our decimal system is base 10 so it is read like this, with 102s being 100s etc.:

103s  102s   10s    1s (or units)

5        2        3        0

Ahh interesting. 🙂 Yeah I recently was learning a bit of binary counting, but have forgotten some of the basic building blocks (hopefully temporarily, maybe if I "refresh" myself it'll start coming back.)

I've memorized a few powers of 2 numbers myself ... I think I've recently lost a few but let's see what I can remember without looking it up...

Well I had many Handles in my days...

My current one Anghammarad is quite fitting I think... I thieved it from a Discworld Novel Going Postal I think, there he was one of the oldest Golems who was still working and helping as good as he could. Then after helping dousing a fire water did hit him in his red hot glowing state and he explodet into dust... Finding his final rest.

I myself am waiting for the water to come ^^

Main System:

Anghammarad : Asrock Taichi x570, AMD Ryzen 7 5800X @4900 MHz. 32 GB DDR4 3600, some NVME SSDs, Gainward Phoenix RTX 3070TI

System 2 "Igluna" AsRock Fatal1ty Z77 Pro, Core I5 3570k @4300, 16 GB Ram DDR3 2133, some SSD, and a 2 TB HDD each, Gainward Phantom 760GTX.

System 3 "Inskah" AsRock Fatal1ty Z77 Pro, Core I5 3570k @4300, 16 GB Ram DDR3 2133, some SSD, and a 2 TB HDD each, Gainward Phantom 760GTX.

On the Road: Acer Aspire 5 Model A515-51G-54FD, Intel Core i5 7200U, 8 GB DDR4 Ram, 120 GB SSD, 1 TB SSD, Intel CPU GFX and Nvidia MX 150, Full HD IPS display

(Abit Fatal1ty FP9 IN SLI, C2Duo E8400, 6 GB Ram DDR2 800, far too less diskspace, Gainward Phantom 560 GTX broken need fixing)

Hehe, all I remember is 3.1415926589846 .... somewhere around the 10th or 13th digit or so my memory of it starts to differ from what I've recently seen π assigned.   (Also back in the day when I had a calculator with a π function, something like that was the number that it would return.)

A cringe 2009ish-me decision...

LP was for "Let's Play" back then, these days not so much anymore but the name stuck around due to a few people knowing me under this tag.

My friend had the online name Celigab Which was his car + his name (Celica + Gabriel).
I used the same formula and made my username Jarsky (Jarrod + Skyline) which i've been using now for about a decade.

Its a unique name, theres only really 1 mention generally which is the actor Joris Jarsky, and it rolls pretty well so stayed with it ever since.

My username is different. Ebprince has been my internet name since 2017. I have used this name everywhere. When I found out about this forum, I made it “ebprince the computer nerd.” “The computer nerd” at the end resembles that I do know a thing or 2 about tech.

how are you doing today

So I went with the next best thing

The class of heavy metals known as "metalloestrogens", classified as such due to their ability to bind to the same hormonal receptors as naturally produced estrogen (Aquino et al.), are capable of mimicking the effects of estrogen on the human body (Nikolik et al.). Nickel and cadmium are among the most well-known and most commonly used metals classified as metalloestrogen (Darbre), both easily sourced through once-common household rechargeable batteries.

Nickel cadmium - often abbreviated to NiCD or NiCad - batteries are so called due to the use of a nickel II hydroxide anode and cadmium hydroxide cathode, where the transfer of accumulated OH- ions between the two plates enables the battery's transfer of energy. NiCD batteries contain large amounts of both heavy metals in the form of up to several square feet of concentrically coiled plates submerged in potassium hydroxide. Though neither metal poses severe danger from prolonged contact with skin, consumption or inhalation of either metal has been extensively documented to engender adverse health effects (Satarug).

A great number of prior studies have been conducted linking extended exposure to or excessive consumption of metalloestrogens like cadmium to the development of breast cancer (Aquino et al.) - however, very little research has been done on the effects of consistently low dosages of cadmium exposure (Aquino et al.). Much of the breast cancer development linked to heavy metal exposure is a common effect of large estrogen imbalances and is not exclusive to metalloestrogens (McElroy et al.). Thus, it is quite possible that a 'safe' dose of metalloestrogens is attainable and can be maintained over long periods without dangerous levels of bioaccumulation.

Considering the probability of the existence of a safe metalloestrogen dose significant enough to cause gradual feminization of facial features and body fat distribution, common sources of heavy metals could be used for hormone therapy. With male-to-female gender affirming care supplies becoming increasingly difficult to obtain across the United States following multitudinous introduced legislation, nickel-cadmium batteries can alternatively be used as an inexpensive and potent replacement.
