I've been Sinder5 online since I started as a Minecrafter on Google+  yes, Google+.  Don't Judge xD.    I started to be Sinder5 a bit over a year ago when I joined G+ on September 9th, after just dinkin' around on there, posting random things about MCPE I eventually decided that, since I had been seeing a lot of GFX Related posts, (mainly Minecrafty type renders) I got interested in the topic, and started to make my own GFX.  I learned the basics of blender, and began pusing my old 2011 Mac Mini to it's limits.  Now the Mac was doing good work, but it wasn't meeting my needs, nor was I able to use it when I wanted to, because it was (and still is) a family computer.   So I decided I wanted to buy my own computer.  I did some research, then made up my mind to build my own computer; so that's what I did.  LinusTechTips has helped me achieve my goals of building a computer, along with other channels like JayzTwoCents, TekSyndacite, and Austin Evans.  I succeeded in building my first computer, which has a GTX 960, and an intel i5 4690k processor, in Mid April 2015.  I've been making GFX On it ever since, and playing Minecraft with Shaders at 1440p as well. :)  So that's how I became Sinder5, and one of millions of LTT Fans. :D

OH BTW, If you care, you can find me on Google+: https://plus.google.com/+Sinderfive

My name was created when I was 13 at my local Bob Evans Restaraunt, when my brother decided to make fun of my habit for drinking 10 dollars worth of milk whenever we went out for dinner. He wrote it down on a napkin and put down two g's and I asked why to which he replied, "i dunno". So whatever. And the 24 is in regards to my favorite race car driver Jeff Gordon. I was obsessed with NASCAR as a kid, but I kind of completely ignore it now. The name was used firstly to make my own xbox live account because my brother was tired of me messing with his custom classes on CoD4 xD

Built a bionicle when I was like 13 (?).

Thought long and hard of a name. Eventually jerakl popped up. It's funny because most of the ideas started with "J". which my name IRL does as well.

Someone told Luke and Linus at CES 2017 to "Unban the legend known as Jerakl" and that's about all I've got going for me. (It didn't work)

Dümmst Anzunehmender Nutzer translates to 'the most stupid user (who you can assume will be using your product, software, etc.)'. Short DAU.

It is similar to the word GAU (Größter anzunehmender Unfall, worst-case-scenario) but it applies to computers rather than nuclear reactors.

So, here I am!

A little bit about myself: I am a 19 years old student (electrical engineering), I'm from Bavaria, the most beautiful place in Germany and the rest of the world. ;-)

I've been watching NCIX tech tips for, idk, 5 years and finally made it to the forum. I am confused everytime people refer to Slick as 'Luke' and to Dezel/Diesel as Edzel (whoever those might be...) :D

Personally I don't a powerful rig, just a SNSV ultrabook (one of the two only models with a dedicated GPU) so I can't put like a build log online or use it's specs as my forum signature.

I'm looking to having a lot of fun with this great community that I have already read as a guest some times.

Mathias.

My name ist a very big fail. "Vinom" should be a mix of my first and surname, but when I first created the name I made the mistake to swap letters without recognizing. My surname ends with "mon" and not "nom" but okay. I keeped it for reasons that I can't understand myself, but now I don't want another name.

@DuemmstAnzunehmenderNutzer I have to correct you. Hamburg is the most beautiful place in the world ;)

I think my username is pretty self-explanatory. Because, I was definitely a kid in the 90's. But, I also wanted to make something that was original and unique. I came up with this instead of having a username with random letters and numbers. I really couldn't think of anything better at the time.

TheTrewthHurts

First, it is from an old quote I heard first hand -

If the truth doesn't hurt, it's not working.

Second, I can use it as a way to explain both being better at something than you and not being better at something than you.

Examples:

You are better at "it" - The truth hurts you because it could be said that you have no life and all you do is spend your time on that thing.

I am better at "it" -  The truth hurts you because I am better.

Yes, pretty weak. I know. :)

Bill Ong, underscore simply served as a space for this forum (as space is invalid), and I got this name since I'm 3 in China, studying kindergarten as my father works there.

My real name is Ci Leong and they gave me a nickname, Bill. And, when it's combined with my last name, Ong, it became Bill Ong, which is the name I've been using for 11 years, in my emails, facebook, insta, forums, etc.

My alias came from a wacky meme fusion that i had in my head. It all started when i was tired of using: "Cool1524" (boring name isnt it?). I wanted a name that was substantial yet easy to remember. So i looked up a bunch of memes and i hit a block. After having a break, i closed a bunch of tabs (in a stir crazy fashion) to only end up with 2 left (Shoop Da Whoop and "This Is Sparta!"). I thought to myself: "Great idea!". Hashed up the words "Sparta" and "Lazer". Problem was, the pronunciation didn't sound right. Added the "z" and the rest became history. :D
