I used to play RuneScape quite a lot, and there was a quest that rewarded you with a "Fixed Device". 

 

It was basically a large rocket launcher that you would mount on your shoulder and fire away. Everyone used to wander around populated areas and fire it at other players. It was all in good fun!

This is probably the most random nickname I've used so far... well actually no, I've had much worse than this.

 

The name came from winning an Xbox in a raffle at college a couple years ago, when I tried to use my nickname of the time "Express" it was taken, so I had to extend it a bit. Here's the break down:

"Express" - I guess it comes from the ideology that beating around the bush is akin to wasting time, and that 'express'ing your opinion clearly is best.

"ion" - well that was a random way of extending the word.

"93" - The year 1993, my year of birth.

My username comes from when I was playing p2w mmo's as a non paying player. This is the extended version of the family of names being Nara and Naro. You could say that this is the father and those are the two kids. Nara is from the ancient capital of japan and suitably was ruled by empress Genmei. Naro is the masculine variant and also comes from the south korean rocket naro-1 and the naro space center and the region it resides. Narobi and Narobii are the same name with variant in spelling and I use which ever is available (and however many i's I click at the end). I still haven't come up with a good way of writing the extended feminine variant.

mine comes from a nickname i got in highschool. see im from denmark and people from denmark are called danes and im a fan of spongebob as well as my friends s mixing it with dirty dan to make dirty dane worked out ironically. even though it has nothing to do with my personality.. although we dont use it vocally with each other anymore after we stumbled upon it on urban dictionary

I made this username up about 5 or 6 years ago when I got tired of my original username that I had used since I was a wee lad got tiresome. I was a pirate of softwares and musics and movieses, was blue at the moment (a breakup long forgotten now) and thought that Red was simply a bitchin name to have, so now you have redthebluepirate.
