My friends and I were talking about the XBox 360 and its Red Ring of Death issue and thought, "What if a console was even more broken from the start?". So, we pieced together ideas of shoddy wiring, uncomfortable controllers, a larger power brick, and really bad packaging emphasizing some number like 5000 that means nothing at all (think of those game machines that were meant to play 200+retro games). We named it the Funtron5000 and I took it to the internet.

I wanted a one-word name with no additional numbers or punctuation (like underscores or hyphens). I also love to read and have quite the collection of books, so it seems to fit

So my Username for everything used to be Badger, this was because my Dad was in the navy and that was his Nickname amongst his peers due to his grey streaks in his hair.  I thought I'd just use this for everything.

My friends decided to be a bunch of assholes a while back and changed my Xbox Gamertag to "Baeger" for some reason (the main reason this annoyed me is I had to pay for it).  Anyway, the name just kind of stuck.  Baeger is the name I use for every website and service now since about 2010.

My name started out on the MMO Rift, it was Forbidden, or so i though

It  was a good while before i noticed i missed a "d" and was known as Forbiden.

 

Changed to Forb in general because of people constantly telling me my name is spelt wrong

My username has a simple meaning. "UL" stands for Ubuntu Linux. "42" is the imaginary version of it (a reference to the meaning of life from that one book). L just stands for "Life", "Living", or whatever similar word that pleases you.

 

As for the reason to have a name like this... well, it might make more sense when my avatar is eventually done being made.

My username used to be Frosty_Hunta, but i changed it to Frost_Tursilon because my first name is "Nicholas" and in elvish the name "Nicholas" is "Turwaithion" So i took Tur and mixed it with Epsilon. and the thing you get after is Frost_Tursilon. Kinda jumbled and stuff but its alright i guess.

Loki is the god of mischief in Norse mythology. That movie didn't invent that.

Notxtwhiledrive came from the time I was making a steam account, instead of using my stock username that I used in almost everything, I looked at my computer table and saw my notepad, my phone, and a Segate external hdd, in that order. Then I started to put them together as Notephoneharddrive and later shortened to "No"- from NOtepad, "text"- cause that's the first thing I first taught when thinking about a phone, and "whiledrive"- from first "while" vaguely rhymes with "hard", and second I said of I'm making a username why not convey a message . So notxtwhiledrive came into fruition.

I chose my username because... well... I have my own (currently ageing) server machine, and I'm a guy, so the name made sense (also, I'm friends with the school's IT Technicians... they do get very lonely when they aren't playing with CCTV at Halloween).

My user name is my name. That way people I know in the real world can find my pearls of wisdom a lot more easily than having to remember various made up names.
