The q300l is an inexpensive small case.

The Sliger Cerberus is probably the smallest case you can get. It runs like $250 us and is pretty much an MATX version of the N-Case M1. If you want smaller you'll need an SFX PSU and an ITX MOBO. You could also go with the Cube style cases which are shorter, but have a larger footprint.
