Hello, did you get this router from your ISP? In that case, you should contact them.

GPU: Red Devil RX 7900XT | Sound: Odac + Fiio E09K | Case: Fractal Design R6 TG Blackout |Storage: MP510 960gb and 860 Evo 500gb | Cooling: CPU: Noctua NH-D15 with one fan

FS in Denmark/EU:

Usually its somewhere in WAN/LAN settings.

But most importantly!
Be more specific, do you mean giving the router a static IP, or the devices connected to said router.
Also it would help mentioning the brand of the router; Huawei Echolife HG8145V5

They also have a forum, and im sure there is a topic or helpfile showing howto do this.
https://forum.huawei.com/enterprise/en/search?keyword=HG8145V5+static+ip&tab=all

But this forum is for enterprise stuff and not carries suplies stuff, that it LOCKED DOWN. and you would need to contact ISP for that.

But seriously do NOT keep us guessing, give all the info you have. And be as clear as possible.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

This website allows you to view your public WAN IP address. Has nothing to do with LAN.

If you want a static WAN IP, you need to contact your ISP to see if they will rent one to you.

What are you trying to accomplish?

It all depends on how you network works.
If you're not willing to tell us its really hard to answer this correctly.

If your router acts as your modem, then no.
If you have a seperate modem then yes.
If you check on your phone without wifi its no again.

Etc.

Put some effort in, else no one will give you a correct answer as they CANNOT!

Else, just explain what it is you want to do, maybe there's other ways to achieve.
And if you want fixed public IP from you ISP, ask them.
Else you would want a domain(name) and DDNS service, so you can always connect to your home computer/server.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

If your ISP doesnt want to give you one, there is little to do about that.

But you can make it easier;

  • Get a domain.  (the names of websites are called domains)
  • Then setup your domain to connect to your PC.
  • Use DynDNS service to update the domain everytime your own WAN-IP adress changes.
  • Always be able to connect to your PC/server

There are several ways of achieving this, im not informed enough to give you step by step guide. Sorry.
Maybe someone in here knows a good starting point. 🙂
