What do you find the hardest when building a PC?

i haven't built a PC yet but i am planning in doing it soon. im going to say my problems will come from cable management and wiring it all up. if i can get past that and there is a problem, i will be stumped with the trouble shooting

Cable management and dealing with fan speeds. Bios and corsair link all be trolling eachother.

Picking parts is the hardest, you want to get the best you can for the budget.

Then cable management so it looks pretty inside and is easy to work on.

 

When installing a CPU cooler some more of a pain than others.

Hmm hardest probly cable management but thats not really hard just time consuming to get exactly how I want.

Yes watercooling is hard too but i promise you if i just check a few 100 tuts how to do then i owuld call it easy

Mine is stopping myself from buying more things to go in the case. I didn't need another video card, but I wanted it!

 

After that is cable management. Took me 2 rounds to be happy with this beast, so really wasn't that bad.

Plugging the 8 pin mobo power, absolute pain in the ass.

 

(I should start plugging it in before dropping the mobo in there...)

Removing a stock AMD cooler and almost destroying the motherboard :\

The horribly put together cables running off of the H100i pump to the fans. Ugh. Ripped them out by accident the day I got it.

CPU heatsink is pretty hard. Never have managed break one yet.

Recently, cramming a Corsair H110 with fans above the rad on the top of a 350D. Other than that cable management and pluggin that molex connector in the back of a Essence STX.

The hardest part is ruining a perfectly new case as you start to add components and some elbow grease must be applied to get things to fit right, which  mars up the case. Even if its spots unseen by most you still know that nick or scratch or blemish is there.

I'm going to have to say mail in rebates. I always fall for them and have lost money every time because I never end up following though with the rebates. Also some rebates need the UPC code and return policy need  that still on the box so i tend to wait out the return period and normally miss the rebate time.
