2070 Super or 2080?

I am in the market to buy a GPU and was wondering which one to get.  I am considering the 2080 and the 2070 Super. I would like to get the 2080 but the 2070 Super is $200 less.  If there is not too much of a performance difference I would go for the 2070 Super.  Please let me know your thoughts and opinions on my decision.

Asus z390a motherboard

Corsair rm750x power supply

NZXT Kraken M22

Crucial M.2 250gb SSD

G.SKIILL TridentZ 16gb at 3200 speed

Seagate BarraCuda 2tb HDD

Do you need 10-20% more performance?

I have the 2080 non super and it nets me 120fps and 1440p ultra

2070S then, I can see better places to spend for other parts. for example, the mediocre board and really weak cooler.

The 2080 is a minimal increase in fps over the 2070 Super and sometimes the same/worse. I would spend that 200 USD elsewhere.

I don't really need the extra performance I am just trying to get the most bang for my buck.

Yeah the 2080 is definitely not bang for buck, it’s just more power for a lot more money. If you don’t need it and can spend the money more efficiently in other places, the 2070S is a much better option.

If you can afford to spend your budget and don't mind shooting money and just want to have the best of the best then the 2080, otherwise the 2070 is already very good.

The 2070S is basically a vanilla 2080... Not even the 2080S is worth a whole 200$ more in my opinion.
