Last year they said anything over 60 seconds will disqualified immediately, so I wouldnt go above 60 seconds.

I know what you mean haha, I had to keep it shorter than I wanted otherwise i'd have just overspent time on it...

Of the 47 seconds in my video, less than 30 needed actual "animation" work so we could say you're halfway there

Hello! I am very interested in participating, but I would like clarification on two things:

 

One, when is the actual deadline of the contest? Someone else asked the same question in this thread but I don’t think it actually got answered. The video says we have 7 days (assuming from the date it was posted) to submit our entry (that would mean the 27th of September) but the site says there are 6 days left to participate. Was the date extended? The last thing I want is to put effort into participating but finding out I messed up the deadline and I cannot submit my entry anymore.

 

Two, are almost completely animated/drawn entries allowed? I'm not interested to record my entry as much as I'm interested to draw it, but I was wondering if this does not count and would get you disqualified from the contest. I will put a picture of my PC in the video, but can the rest be drawn frames?

Before you say your PC sucks just remember their exist worse . Mine is a 2008 PC with a intel core 2 quad 6600,two modules of 2gb ddr2 ram and a Geforce 9500 GT that now doesn't exist in general . So ,i maybe be rude, but stfu (for those who undestand) and be gratefull with what you have. THANK YOU..........
