• i think pvp video games make people toxic, not because there are guns, but pvp.
  • thats why i avoid all kinds pvp games and modes
  • i play world of warcraft, i dont do all kinds of pvp unless the game forces me to. (like that damn cape quests)
  • however i play heroes of the storm, but in vs ai mode only
• i think more games should go back to the subscription monetisation model like wow. with option to play it for free.
  • you can earn your sub fee relatively easy. just farm some mats few hours per week.
• i think windows 10 is great

There's just so much I do not understand, to a point where I think I am just.. 'different' (not in a good way).

A lot of that has to do with media and such, mainly certain types of music I guess. Willful ignorance/anti-intellectualism is something I will never understand too. Sure, you don't understand something.. Alright. But if it matters a lot, you should really look into the ins and outs of what that is.

 

Furthermore, I just do not understand life at all. Like why the frick is so much of it filled with dread, mistakes and regret. 

A lot of discrimination (especially sexism and racism) are things that confuse  the hell out of me too. Why can't you just judge people based on who they are (with their skills and such) before judging?

 

In recent years I have grown tired of any sort of competition, it just fuels something ugly and putrid inside myself and everyone that participates. I hate it.

 

On some other forum I was on there was a thread that was basically "post an unpopular opinion/statement here. don't argue with others about theirs" and I think such a thread would be neat to see on every forum.

Some things are just not meant to be a universal thought/opinion, which is alright. I just hope people in the future can set aside their differences and realize we're all not so different. Be accepting of each other, try to not make each other so miserable.

 

I dislike the 'I wish I was born in a different generation'-thought, since it's mainly built on a rose colored idea of the previous generation, but seeing how life is now, I can't help but think that..

 

Oh and I also don't get why people prefer driving their car for small distance trips where they are not hauling a lot back and forth

Things I can't get my head around:

1. Fanboys (especially with computer components.) At least with Apple or Samsung, there's a subjective component there. With us, it's mostly hard performance numbers.
2. Furries. I get that there are bronies who are because they find the characters cute or because they enjoy the messages and lessons exhibited by the show, but what of furries? I'm fairly open-minded when it comes to sexuality, but I do have my limits of understanding.

Things I do that I don't think people understand:

1. I tend to want to do a lot of stuff alone. It's not that I don't like people, I do. But I don't like to feel like I'm dragging my family or friends along to do things only I want to do, so I'll go to concerts alone and I don't tend to play a lot of multiplayer games. I think some of it is also nerves, as I don't always handle loss well.
2. My dark and insensitive sense of humor. 9/11 is tomorrow, and I'm a New Yorker so it's even closer to home. I remember the day it happened, and I was only 3 years old. It's a horrible thing to remember, and I don't take the deaths of 3000 innocent people lightly, but meme culture works in mysterious ways.

I mean I think the furry gang is cool, I'd love to get a fursuit but the sexual part of it is something not for me. It's not all sexual lol,if it were do you really think in America at least we'd be able to have such big conventions. 

 

Something I never understood is the need to be different to a point of causing distress to others. In the case of non-conforming to genders or whatever is one point. I see it as a mental illness more than a choice. I mean, I have a lot of things I take part in and whatever. But I'm not going to say I can change my gender depending on how I feel. It's bizarre to me. And just because other societies might do this doesn't mean it's healthy. Other societies implement censorship and forced labor, or ban gay marriage do you also want to implement that too? I get it being different and who you are, but be just that, be who you are not who you feel you are.

There's a huge porn convention in Vegas every year (also one in New Jersey and one in California). I know a few furries and they're perfectly fine people, but I just don't understand it becoming their persona. Also I did forget to mention that I do know that there's a non-sexual component to it, but I often think of the sexual component because that's more of what I've been exposed to.

Things that I don't get:

1. sex in everything, like sex is the ultimate goal in life. Sex is nice and all (says the virgin lol) but there's not a day where i don't see people don't make sex joke, sex reference, make mundane normal things sexual, even funerals and wars,etc etc. even movies forced in some sex scene or sex clip even though it has nothing to do with the plot. Heck, there's even rule 34 dedicated to sexualize everything

 

2. celebrity worshiping. like there's legit people out there worshiping someone they never know or met who probably don't even care about them. Yet these people will fight to the death defending their celebrity/idol to the point they cry, depress, lose appetite, lost productivity, even losing control of their lives. Stalking, the need to know what the celebrity eat or sleep, where they go to vacation is a norm to them, like get a life really. Come on, these actor/actress are just normal people doing their job acting to a role designated by the director of movies. nothing more nothing less, sure some are good actor but the praise is only at where its due

- With that also comes that I don't believe anyone likes me, which is probably true. All throughout my life, I've had people not give a fuck about me and I've had to suck it up. That came with the baggage of me believing that no one on this planet could give any remote fuck about me.

- I have a weird thing with video capture. I genuinely enjoy capturing video to a very strange extent. I love figuring out different ways to make my videos look better.

Things I dont get

- The insane hatred that Epic got for signing exclusives. More generally the hatred people have for needing multiple launchers on their PC. Its NOT that big of a deal. If you are worried about back end malicious software than I get that but often thats not what people are bitching about, they are just pissed they need another launcher.

 

- People losing their shit over things like 5 second merch plugs in videos. Most of those people are watching for free and are upset that LTT is trying to sell their merch. Its a business for god sakes, how do people not get that. And for the record I am on floatplane and I still dont mind the plugs and totally respect them for running their business

 

-People losing their mind over clickbait and sponsored videos. Once again its just someone running their business, if you dont like it then stop watching, you arent ENTITLED to watch, you are able to watch and the choice is on you. If you dont like the way a youtuber titles their videos and it puts you in a rage than simply quit watching, instead of stomping your feet and pouting like an entitled bitch. Its just ridiculous.

I could go on for ever. I consider myself to be a very logic centric person, so whenever I see people doing illogical things that are based on emotion I often have a hard time wrapping my head around how they dont understand how it was totally illogical
