Anyone success in using the AMD Vega cards in folding? Mine doesn't start under ubuntu. Haven't tried windows yet, but I suspect is the vega reset issue

Vega works fine for folding, but usually you can't mix vendors. So no Nvidia-amd GPU systems

ah I'm running 2080ti and vega 64 in the same system. It should work tho, if it doesn't I will just pass through the card to another linux KVM and use it there.

Like I said, mixing venders is hard enough but Vega is the worst for mixing. I ended up using a VM with GPU passthrough

While getting a second GPU up and running in my Linux machine, I noticed the following entries in the 'Expert' configuration tab.  I did not enter any of these myself and am curious what they do and if they should be there.  The 'fold-anon=true' is especially strange since I definitely have my username and passkey entered for this client and the points are reporting correctly.

I don’t know why it sets fold-anon=true but it always does that and theirs no harm

 

about the only documentation for the flags is found by running 

FAHClient —help

in a terminal or using a UNIX TELNET  client (i.e.PuTTY on Windows) and telnetting to TCP Port 36330 and typing “help”
