Too long, Won't read: How often do you get music stuck in your head?

 

 

Unnecessarily Long story:

As the Title implies, How often do you get music stuck in your head? I recently realized I have music stuck in my head almost constantly, had a song in my head in less than a minute after waking up. I will think of something or be in a situation which reminds me of a song, then that song will be in my head for however long, then I will be reminded of a different song and that will be in my head. I can't remember what "silence" is like because there is always music playing in my head, I have gotten "Door ajar" chimes stuck in my head.

 

But anyway, back to the question: how often do you have music playing in your head? whole day? half the day? only a few minutes?

It's probably 'confirmation bias', but I feel like I have a song stuck in my head all the time. Typically it's a song I just got reminded of in a weird way or sometimes just what I heard a second ago.

 

Of course I can trigger this, which is great since the music at work sucks.

Very infrequently actually, if we define it as an annoying sensation.  I'll often have a song in my head but quite rarely is it "stuck" in the way I think we'd traditionally think of it.

I don't think there is a time where a song isn't playing in my head. It's get stuck there, remixed, mashed up with another song, etc... I'm always listening to music, so when I'm not it still plays.

I don't mean in an annoying way, I just mean that there is some kind of music playing in your head, something that you would "hear" if it what silent around you.

It happens quite a bit to me. Btw, getting a song stuck in your ear is called an ear worm (I have other names for it but Mama told me not to use those words).
