Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

Data caps on wired connections are pretty much not legal over here.

+ £15 for your line rental.

I use Virgin Media. There are no caps, but there is traffic shaping during peak hours. £30 per month for 60mbps down, 3mbps up.

I use Three Mobile for my mobile, there is no data cap. Its £12.90 per month for a 1 month rolling contract.

No data cap, Cox Cable $110 per month. I only get a letter asking me to please not go over 500GB whenever I go over 500GB but nothing happens.

Comcast, I think it's 300GB now or something stupid like that.

Bell (ISP in canada) blocked that video. Can you imagine that.

xD I guess I get to be proud of Bell for one thing at least! (Even if it's for them being beyond awful..)

i don't use data on a phone, and have *unlimited* internet access on fibre optic. basically if i go over about 100GB in an hour then the speed gets throttled by about 50% for an hour.

I'm confused by that statement. Are you saying that you applaud Bell for making Youtube ban that video for Canadians because it exposes their oligopoly?

Yes, I like that they to full douchebagery levels. It wouldn't have been as funny or meaningful had they not done that.

I don't really have a cap but somewhere between 300gb and  1tb of usage (depens on what kind of user you are) the speed of p2p usage gets capped.

We have a 250GB cap. I never even knew this until I watched a shitload of HD YouTube and Netflix one month in summer and my dad yelled at me.

My mom's phone still has the old Verizon unlimited data plan and her new phone has 4g. Great for tethering.

Absolutely not, my mobile and home plans are unlimited, I wouldn't want a cap no matter hhow cheap the plan was.
