Unless budget is an issue, there's no reason to go with a 750ti instead of the 1050ti. And really, 1050's aren't that much anyway.

It seems there is no difference except when you overclock it

You can just run a 2nd power supply if you have to, just need to bridge the 24 pin.

 

as with that an RX 570/580 is 40-60% faster than a 1050ti

Afaik under full load that can consume up to 140~watts, total System power required during peak efforts is ~250 w. 

 

So it is possible, but not much of reserve left. One can always undervolt though, or set a lower power target..

Without knowing the full specs and budget the OP has, this is a bit of a silly suggestion isn't it? You'd probably run into a severe bottleneck.

But on that note yes,  @Bonzilink what sort of budget are you working with here, how much are you willing to change. Or do you just want a dedicated gpu and nothave to change much else.

Why would you let a crap PSU dictate your GPU choice? You can get a decent 450W PSU for 50 USD.
