I personally have the G502 and the G213, both of them feel very premium and sold.

People most likely recommend you 60%s since those are the most popular in keyboard enthusiast communities and are the most popular diy form factor for keyboards. Corsair keyboards are built reasonably well aside from the cheap thin laser etched abs caps and the shitty mushy stabilizers, and mediocre cherry switches. Some people also like 60%s since they save a lot of space that allow for more movement of the mouse, and some people find most of the nav cluster and numpad to be useless for them.

But its preferences at the end of the day but stick to brands you have heard of before. 60% keyboard is good if you don't have lots of deskspace.

It all depends on your preferences. I can't live without my delete key, so I dont get why someone would buy a keyboard which does not feature a delete key. Apart from the delete key I use the arrow keys and the numpad a lot in Excel.

Currently I use a full-size Ducky One 2 Skyline, and I really like that keyboard. Everything about it feels like quality. Once you pick it up you can't really believe how heavy it is. It is a really expensive keyboard, though... So I would not buy it outright...

I have a K70 Lux RGB and a G610 (cherry MX brown) and I love both. Although I find the K70 poor value, the extra $80cad only gets me a wrist rest and RGB, and I just keep my keyboard to static white. So if you just want a solid made keyboard and don't care for RGB then the G610 is perfect.

i've been using the G910 Spectrum for over a year, and I love it. It's my favorite keyboard in years. Second only to the daskeyboard 4.

K70 has USB passthrough, and is built fine. I don't recommend 60% or even TKL unless you know you can handle it. I can't

Because you don't understand how a 60% actually works. Nothing is missing. It's just accessed using layers. Once you become used to this it's much faster to use as you need to move  your hands around less.

@Rocki Look into Filco, Ducky, Leopold and to a lesser extend, Cooler Master keyboards.

Leopolds are built very well and better than Ducky and Filco in some regards I would argue, only thing that lets them down is their lack of media keys and a first party configuration tool.

IMO not needing software running in the background to get full functionality is a huge plus. Not the other way around.

You are joking right? That is not the same thing. Having to switch layers is pretty annoying when using shortcuts or keys one-handed in programs like SolidWorks or Excel. I understand that for some usecases it will be faster, but stating that it will be much faster is a big over-statement.

I use one every day. You are simply uninformed/inexperienced. It does take some relearning of muscle memory but once you do it IS a lot faster.

I have not found a single fault with my k70v2 yet.

Its superb.

I do agree I wouldn’t buy a plastic keyboard, the K70 I have is metal, it’s heavy but superb.

I love all Corsair products except their cases, Fractal wins there...
