Dark messiah isn’t old but it’s quite fun. Different from the classic so I hear.

The older ones are still worth checking out on GOG. They’re quite a bit goofier. The AI is so stupid but that’s also part of the fun. IMO, the appeal of this game are the bizarrely humongous dungeons with thousands of ennemies. And you can wipe everything out with OP spells. Don’t even bother with physical characters they’re totally gimped in the series. The mid to late game is even more fun since you can fly all over the map ridiculously fast.

As for me, I miss BFBC2 so much.

This game just got released after I had got my first high end gaming pc (i7 920 + Radeon 5870).

It was the first Battlefield which I played online.

And never ever again had I so much pleasure from any other game.

When I think about BFBC2, I feel as if my eyes are getting watery. Not really but I feel as if. The memories of this game gives me goosebumps.

BFBC is my nostalgia game. Played it so damn much.

Only 2 games for me really...

My first/oldest would be Castle Quest which I spent hours and hours playing as a kid.... Funnily enough the full walk through only takes 9 minutes lol

My 2nd would be Everquest... I have years of playtime in that game and the community back in the early days was something very very special. Takes somewhat longer than 9 minutes to play haha

Okay grampa.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.

Never got into 2000; played the original Simcity to death.  I still have the shareware version of wolf3d on 5.25" floppies.

Nostalgia for me:

Roadblaster arcade cab (sit-down version preferably)

Everquest 2 - I spent to many years of my life in that thing.  When I get nostalgia and DL it...and the opening music score comes up...I puke in my mouth and shut it down LOL.

I remember playing that on a 286 with math co-processor on Windows 3.1...circa 2001ish. It was the genuine experience!

Did you have an Acer PC circa 1995? Was it an Aspire?

I did have a custom PC with ~100 Mhz. I remember the game needed like 10+ diskettes for MS DOS. I tried to google the game before but forgotten how it was written. I will definitely play it a bit now that I have found it and it is free.

Thanks man! ?

And the music was pretty boss too! Plus the nearly endless secret stuff like all the codes you can type in at the game menu to access new play modes, the mini games, the music player visualizer, the endless Zinglon levels, and on and on and on. More play than you can shake a stick at!
