This could possibly use the lower end vega core that was announced as vega 56. It would help with thermals/TDP if it were and make it more attractive for the SFF community. Oddly it seems to have an unpopulated 8pin power connector. im betting that its an underclocked vega 56 then, as the board itself as already small.

 

Extra Hype on ITX builds!! What is there to say here?! I want one. There isnt much to say as all we know is it exist!

Thats cool, actually might be a card that interests me. If its anything like the last nano card. Maybe 1070 performance using only a bit more power.

If that's the case why not just get a 1070?

More power is the last thing you want in an ITX case.

Pretty stoked about this, I really hope that it's a powerful card. If it's just under a 1080 this is a no brainer for me, even if I've all but abandoned the idea of a Ryzen rig.

Considering that the Vega FE pcb is just mostly empty space for the cooler to fit this would be very easy to do.

Haha, no. I believe you get discounts on those items, not the items themselves.

It's also a discount on Ryzen 7, which I can't use.

What do you mean gimped? I'm sure they'll perform just as well as they did on launch. i haven't seen 980's take a huge hit.

Eh, depends if a motherboard company comes out with an ITX motherboard with a decent array of USB ports and good VRMs. The Gigabyte board gets too hot when used with a wide array of coolers, limiting my already drastically limited options.

You only get a discount for the monitor and R7, they dont come with the card (You get the games though).

Look at the pcie slot, that thing is abut the size of a small 1050 ti.  About an inch and a bit shorter than the shortest 1070

According to WCCF that's only for the top tier package. The bottom gets games, the second adds motherboard/CPU discount, the third monitor discount. They really fucked up their launch by not live streaming this.
