Weapon of choice

Silentprototipe

The 40 cm/45 Type 94 naval gun. Btw it was actually a 46cm, the name was just to keep secrecy about its true caliber.

I'd rather have a 16 inch gun turret off of an Iowa Class Battleship.

Or an aircraft carrier. Actually I think I'll have that.

Fork firing rail gun

You'd pointlessly vaporize the fork.

unless you're trying to pump your enemy's face full of white-hot metal steam at point-blank.

My ideal weapon of choice would be... a crowbar. Or a wrecking bar. with a knife in my pocket.

Projectile weapon of choice would be a bow and arrow.

If I had to use a gun, I wouldn't - they're cheating. Until you run out of ammo, in which case they're useless.

The pen.

muh specs

Gaming and HTPC (reparations)- ASUS 1080, MSI X99A SLI Plus, 5820k- 4.5GHz @ 1.25v, asetek based 360mm AIO, RM 1000x, 16GB memory, 750D with front USB 2.0 replaced with 3.0  ports, 2 250GB 850 EVOs in Raid 0 (why not, only has games on it), some hard drives

Screens- Acer preditor XB241H (1080p, 144Hz Gsync), LG 1080p ultrawide, (all mounted) directly wired to TV in other room

Stuff- k70 with reds, steel series rival, g13, full desk covering mouse mat

All parts black

Workstation(desk)- 3770k, 970 reference, 16GB of some crucial memory, a motherboard of some kind I don't remember, Micomsoft SC-512N1-L/DVI, CM Storm Trooper (It's got a handle, can you handle that?), 240mm Asetek based AIO, Crucial M550 256GB (upgrade soon), some hard drives, disc drives, and hot swap bays

Screens- 3  ASUS VN248H-P IPS 1080p screens mounted on a stand, some old tv on the wall above it.

Stuff- Epicgear defiant (solderless swappable switches), g600, moutned mic and other stuff.

Laptop docking area- 2 1440p korean monitors mounted, one AHVA matte, one samsung PLS gloss (very annoying, yes). Trashy Razer blackwidow chroma...I mean like the J key doesn't click anymore. I got a model M i use on it to, but its time for a new keyboard. Some edgy Utechsmart mouse similar to g600. Hooked to laptop dock for both of my dell precision laptops. (not only docking area)

Shelf- i7-2600 non-k (has vt-d), 380t, some ASUS sandy itx board, intel quad nic. Currently hosts shared files, setting up as pfsense box in VM. Also acts as spare gaming PC with a 580 or whatever someone brings. Hooked into laptop dock area via usb switch

Vector Manipulation. Can re direct your own projectiles back at you, and depending on how strong it is I could cause your blood to stop flowing or burst through you. Pretty much a more advanced version of telekinesis.

Think your thinking to future/anime, perfectly plausible to use a superconductor at low temp to adjust the magnetic field and fire fast enough to kill a man or two

Not the magnetic field and electrical resistance of the rails I'm worried about - it's the friction from accelerating the fork against a couple of metal rails to a dozen times the speed of sound.

It'd still kill the man outright, though.

Unless of course you mean using a magnetic coil to accelerate the projectile. That's not a problem (although that particular magnetic accelerator is called a Gauss gun or a coil gun.)

The rails wouldn't have to touch when using EM.Just close proximity would happily work and if your worried about the fork melting I'd use either a high quality plastic designed to fail after a shot (slow reload times) or a payload delivery system that disintegrates once out of the "chamber"

Fanboys, on both sides, are quite embarrassing. How can one be a "fan" of a company? A companies only goal is to make a profit off you. Instead of being a smart consumer and base your purchase decision on the best price / performance you choose to dick yourself over by only considering brand X. Idiotic loss to be honest.
