Here's my take on how girls work:

 

  • Carbon based life forms, mammals in fact
  • Need food to operate, oxygen as well
  • Internal reproductive organs
  • Can sometimes mate with males
  • Capable of rational thought as to not always base their mating choices on basic instincts and sometimes basing them on more complex higher reasoning

Everything else is mostly irrelevant to me.

This is good advice:

 

the biggest thing i can say, is don't be afraid to just know the girl. My girlfriend and i were best friends before i confessed my feelings and it makes the relationship easy

Women don't only want boyfriends etc, they want a friend to talk to as well.

 

The only other thing I would suggest is be honest with her.

 

As a guy with 3 sisters, I thought this was all really obvious...

 

Just be honest, clear (i.e. don't make things necessarily complicated, if the relationship is complicated, your doing it wrong), respectful, and basically not-a-dick. All qualities that both partners need for a relationship to last.

there isn't really a secret to women I don't think, just don't be a twat, be polite, give them your undivided attention, don't force anything on them and don't be a bore. You could probably miss out some bits from that list and still get away fine but y'know

I can confirm, using Crew shampoo and conditioner people touch my hair all the time. Males included, which isn't a bad thing for me xD
