No theres a huge difference.

Opera isnt a self installing virus.

And youre not going to notice how bad and infective a virus google chrome is while you actually have it installed, because that's the only way to get it to not install itself.

@Bhav Have been using chrome ever since I owned a PC, and I install it on literally everything and recommend it to everybody that asks me about it.

Never had any issues with it, and I've never heard of anyone having that problem.

Are you sure you don't have some sort of malware on your PC that keeps doing this?

Highly possible that the other people had the same malware, considering only a very small percentage of people seem to have this issue.

Also, when using Google Advanced Search and searching for the past year, I can't find a single hit on your problem.

I think the problem is isolated to you and a few other people, noone else seems to have these issues.

Google Chrome just doesn't automatically install itself if your computer is functioning properly.

Lol yeah he was just trying to open event viewer. My guess is the scammer would do that show him all the errors going on and then tell him he needs to download something else (which is malware) to fix this. It would've been totally safe to type in eventvwr.

P.S. I remember watching this video a few months ago lol

had that problem before, it turns out it's Windows' fault, it somehow shits itself when uninstalling Google Update ... so since Google Update isn't uninstalled it will reinstall Chrome. I've only encountered that problem with corrupted registry or with advance registry modifications (like moving the "users" folder from the default location, which was my problem, I had a small SSD so I had moved the program file and users folder to a regular HDD and Windows hated that!).

Sounds like a windows error, I have had this issue with older nvidia drivers that windows will not stop trying to install on my computer.

Yea it generally only takes me <30 mins for a full build now, but thats once you know what your doing.

A first build can be very hard, but I used a forum when I did my first self build and got all the help I needed. Took maybe a couple of hours at most the first time, not 5 hours!

And thats back when cases were badly designed on the insides and had loads more sharp corners and finger traps, and none of the slide out trays or easy install bays we get today.

(Keep in mind this was in 2014) So this girl in one of my classes at school told me she wanted to build her own computer and asked me for help. I asked her what exactly she wanted to do on it, She replied by saying that she wanted a pc that is good for gaming. There was nothing going on in class so I proceeded to jump on amazon and long story short I ended up with 4 Titan Xs in sli, 128gb of corsair DDR4 2133mhz ram, an intel Core i7 5960x, an asus X99 motherboard, a pclabs case, and an corsair H100i. When I told her that I had it all picked out. She came over and saw that the amazon cart was litterally costing around $7000 she said that she would think about it. The next day she showed up with a 2013 Razer Blade.
