How far away from your monitor are you?

How far away (distance) away from your monitor do you sit? Do you get eye strain?

I used to get bloodshot eyes everyday when I was using my laptop and it was probably 30-40cm away from my eyes, but now I only get bloodshot eyes if I'm on from like 8am - 12am.

2 feet or so, with a 26 1440p monitor at 30% brightness and its PWM. Eye strain yea kinda. More from a white screens then say gaming. I can BF4 or CIV for hours without stopping, but I can only look at LTTs forum for so much before it becomes irritating. I pretty much have to breaks regardless of eye condition, My head starts to be bothered by my headset and my hands start to cramp up long before my eyes hurt.
