Damn that is sexy. And the high flow bracket is just an additional plus, in my book. I still need to try and find one from a 580 or 480 so that my 480 can breathe a bit better.

Yes!  it truly is one sexy beast.  I like it better than after market.   Surely there should be tons of high flow brackets on ebay.  Never mind!  I searched it myself and couldn't find anything which I find it strange...hmmmm!!!.   I let you know if I come up with anything.  Which card has higher priority for a high flow bracket? your 480 or 580?

nononononono I only have a 480, but the brackets from the 480 and 580 are interchangeable.

I would do the same if the physical copies weren't about $20 NZD cheaper ^^;

Oh around here it's all the same price. Something nice that I don't see on Xbox is that Nintendo does run sales and even discounts older titles.

look what just arrived today :)

from EVGA B-stock ($369). I haven't installed it to test it yet but physically it looks flawless, blemish free. Now! I just hope it works as well as it looks. The build quality is truly amazing, makes my EVGA GTX 670 look like it was made by Fisher Price in comparison. Also, I'm very...very glad that it came with a backplate, this thing is heavy.

While ill agree at least it's Fisher Price cause that's quality plastic then!

What Athlon, exactly? Regardless, nice time-correct pairing. I'm planning to pair up a GTX 480 with a 7850BE if I can ever get the stupid thermal pads for my 480. :/

Damn that is sexy. And the high flow bracket is just an additional plus, in my book. I still need to try and find one from a 580 or 480 so that my 480 can breathe a bit better.

Dude I remember when you had to buy those. I think my non high flow 460 bracket is still floating around here somewhere.

Non-G-Sync, which I'm glad about because I hate displayports right now. I've never had a monitor with such an awesome stand before, so I'm still moving it about for no reason like an idiot [emoji38]

Deeeeewd, y u got so much money to constantly buy awesome audio gear? :D

Imma gonna visit you next time i go [place whereever you live] and totally try out all your stuff!

So jelly :(

Oh ye but the focus pads freaking Rock!

When i ordered my 400i i ordered some velour pads with it (cuz for free) but never put them on lol.

Bah, I ain't married, don't have familial obligations so I can spend on myself. ;)  When I get into a hobby I like, I dive in head first, much like when I dove into keyboards when I was nutz about them. If you do come to my place, you're gonna need at least a full day to try out the gears I have - Headamp: OPPO HA1 combo, Gustard H10 + X12 stack, Schiit Lyr + iFi Nano iDSD stack, Schiit Vali + Fostex HPA4 stack with AKG K812/Senn HD800/HD700, Denon AH-D2000/D7000, HFM HE4/HE500, Grado GS1000i/PS1000, MrSpeakers Alpha Dog, Audio Technica ATH-AD2000, Philips Fidelio X1, Beyerdynamic DT900/DT1350 along with my portable JDS Labs C5 + Fidelio X3 II stack with IE800, Fitear Parterre, InEar StageDiver 3......perhaps even two days! :P  :D

The Focus Pads are the only HFM pads I'd wear on HFM cans, that's why both my HE4 and HE500 stock pads have been swapped in favor of the Focus pads. True, they do change the sonic characteristics of the sound, whether for better or worse depends entirely on the listener.....anyway, comfort is also an important factor to consider as well. I'm typing this message and chilling, listening to some DSD tracks on my Fiio X3 II + JDS Labs C5 stack with my StageDiver 3.

Why don't you like DP is currently the best connection available...

When I first got this monitor I used DP, but every time I turned my monitor off I'd lose my resolution and as such all the icons on my desktop would move, and if I didn't have the monitor on before turning my computer on, it would get past the windows loading screen then just sit there cycling through inputs before remaining blank. I haven't had either of these problems with the dual-link DVI cable I'm using, which is capable of supporting 144Hz monitors. Also, I don't have multiple monitors and I don't use monitor audio. Displayport is useless to me and until the above two issues are resolved I doubt I'll ever use it again.

You loose the resolution because you turned the device off when the system is on. HDMI and DP monitors show up as devices not so its just like unplugging a USB device or antyhing like that. Should just allow the monitor to turn off on its own or force it off through the computer.

Thats because DVI is always on if its connected it cant generally detect if the monitor is there or not. It just needs the cable plugged in.

GPU's are down to one DVI for the most part now and AMD has cut some backwards comparability. Its on it way out and hasnt been the best interface for a long time. Shortly your going to have to buy an expensive DP to DVI adapter. If your still running 1080p you could still passively adapt HDMI to single link DVI but youll run into many of the same "issues" you had with DP.

Got my laptop dock for my E4300 in my hands today. :D Also in the background is the white 15ft ethernet cable that got here like 4 days ago. Sorry for the clean spots, but this was dusty from being in a storage warehouse. :P

Hahaha :D that sounds awesome.

I'm not getting my full payment since i'm only an apprentice but it's *apparently* enough for a couple cans a year :D

But well, one or two days of audio sounds awesome! That leaves the question open where you actually live. Shoot me a pm :D

And them caaaaaans! Holy shit snacks!

Atm most interested in the d7000, how do you like em and how is there outside noise isolation?

Ye comfort is super important! That's why i don't really like my k7xx. The ear cups can't swivel arount enough so it constantly pushes against under my ear. Trying to get some new pads though but dunno which ones fit.

Anyway, awwwwesome stuff!

Oh and i still have a little surprise in the mail but i dunno when to expect it, so keep an eye open :P

You should buy Sonic Generations on PS3, pretty good port and plays nice :)

I heard WipeOut is fun too (have yet to start playing Fury HD)

Bannapassports for days, bought a whole bunch of tekkan ones off some ebay seller in Japan. Going to split them with my friend. My main one is the Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 10th Anniversary OST Box Set one which probably has about $1500 worth of play time on it. Most of that being on my S15 and a bit on an EVO V

 But what is it?

They are what you use to save game data to when you play Namco Bandai arcade games, when I say arcade games i mean as in go to an arcade and feed it money arcade games. The 2 games that use the Banapassport are the various variations of Tekkan and Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 4/5. In this case I'm a maxitune player.
