Australia's internet speed is a joke.

So right now I have 35 ping, 34mbps download and 27mbps upload, I am on NBN and I pay over $90 each month!!
Now, my internet is faster than 99% of Australia, where the average internet speed doesn't go over 6mbps.
In Singapore, Tokyo ecc... the average stays in the hundreds!!
Thanks Tony Abbott for promising us 25mbps by 2019!

If you have a big country, of course someone is going to have to foot the bill for someone's grandma who lives in the outback. It's just how it works.

Quite literally. My speeds up until last summer were 5Mbps down and 1Mbps up. Now it's 20-40 Mbps down and 5-10Mbps up. My Nannies house is what my old speed is. I also live in a rather largely populated area.

I have the worst calculating system. (4gb = $40 8gb = $50 16gb = $60 32gb = $70) Plus the base cost of the line and router.

Australia is so cute. 25Mbps by 2019. Over in NZ we can get 100Mbps in urban areas right now. In my city it will be everywhere by 2016.
