So, im wondering if the tubing u used was to soft, restricting flow as u sat on it. The flow rate of the liquid in those small tubes would also have decreased the chillers efficiency.

Perhaps u would have been better of using 'normal' larger diameter tubing with a thicker wall for rigidity and insetting them deeper into the foam.

Still, cool project !

well it's old project, but it works

chair: DIABLO V-BASIC

2x Thermalright  TY-147A PWM

2x some stock 120mm aerocool case fans

12V DC 2.1A power brick with 5.5 x 2.1mm dc power plug

20200921_212322-1.thumb.jpg.a432039270d4718e53a3c90b429fb77a.jpg

there's a hidden 5.5 x 2.1mm dc power switch

https://pl.aliexpress.com/item/32814985447.html

the power cable is 5.5 x 2.1mm dc, and is detachable, and if I accidentally go too far with chair plugged it, it will just detache.

20200921_212208.thumb.jpg.cee4a8496efc1624f09706c1122dcb18.jpg

20200921_212150.thumb.jpg.e7500ee70919d4869c3a138735415162.jpg

then just some 5.5 x 2.1mm DC to screws adapter, then some molex cable cut from old PSU, then some molex to 3 pin, and then noctua extenders, and Y splitter as well as some low noise adapters for 3 pin to the  2x Thermalright TY-147A (had to lower theirs rpm, because they are to strong). The red led fans have molex + 3 pin power plug, so I just run them directly from molex.

it's quite quiet, and efficient. The red led fans are mounted with door seal, for vibrations dumping. Had some lying around.

Linus: "Thank you fish nerds"

Me: "We got you fam"

As a long time aquarium hobbyist, I am surprised the two hobbies rarely cross over. I would love to see them engineer an aquarium/pc system.

However, I know there would be a lot of issues to iron out! Still, would be a fun project (as long as no fish are harmed in the production of it).

I only knew about those manifolds because I am also a fish nerd. No description available.

Do you want the diplomatic or the honest answer to that? 😉

Seriously though, cool project, in more then one sense of the word.

Next time, try a more affordable IKEA chair ;)
