Will be joining tonight via remote desktop to set up my PC at home! Afraid I only have a GT1030 machine running at the moment in the office! Is it just the GPUs or can I set my dual socket Xeon machine running as well?

So correct me if im wrong, what i gather by watching the video is that we used our leet machines to find a weakspot in the covid virus ?  did we find plans to the death star?

It's more like we are making plans for the deathstar through molecular simulations tbf.

so once we make the plans. we simulate blasting it with different Fighters right? X-wings vs B-wings? vs TiE fighters? and see what works best ? is that in star wars terms what we are doing right?

Signed up just to say hello! Only rocking a Ryzen 1600 @ 3.8 and a Vega 64, all under a custom loop however with an undervolt on the Vega 😀 Predicted 1103768 PPD currently. The radiator in my room will be off tonight 🤣

I am still seeing this error on the FAH Client Advanced Control.  What am I doing wrong?

Looks like they got overwhelmed, their servers ran out of WU's two days ago and after an upgrade they still can't keep up the pace it seems: https://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=32424

 

So I will be "donating" simultanously here https://boinc.bakerlab.org/ only with folding@home's priority increased (configure->advanced->folding core priority->slightly higher), so if they do happen to have some WU's free my PC can start working on them. And there is also an LTT group over there https://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/team_display.php?teamid=12242

ok so now i get WUs more rarely and if i do it seems to only gives me CPU WUs 

"You know it'll clock down as soon as it hits 40°C, right?" - "Yeah ... but it doesnt hit 40°C ... ever  😄"

Hey, I'm new to folding, so I'd like to ask: Is it possible to keep the WU progress anywhere outside the system's RAM?

I'm asking, because the estimated WU completion date sadly coincides with the planned power outage date.
