I think I had something like 15 fail, across 12 or so clients. None on the main rig

Double-click the client, go to Expert, add 'client-type': 'advanced'

In that case Im lucky with only 1 failing in the GT 1030! (Well... like 5-6 if I count when the GPU in my APU tried but failed.. but those never get registered in HFM.NET

Of course, I dont run anything overcloked and some CPUS dont run in full power because crappy coolers.

Please, do not dare to put "advanced" until your rig is stable with no flags.

How the hell do you have so high fail rate with default OC?

Can you lock it to default clock and see if that improves your success rate? Or underclock the hell out of it and limit it with PL to smth like 80%.

Yep! I have a couple of my machines still running Win7 64 since it works perfectly for everything I need plus some astronomical software what was not working well with Win 10 until recently... once they reach the point of needing a more mayor "pit stop" I will pass them to Win 10... as I say, if it works don´t fix it :)

My room reached 26C so I had to stop folding as all fans went to max speed bar CPU cooler fan.

I realised I had not opened my window so I am now waiting for the room to cool down to a reasonable temperature again.

Like Favebook said, I'd advice against using client-type advanced.
I asked if you had it set because that could be the reason for why you have all these failed WUs.

Sorry for not making that more clear. 😅

If you have an AMD GPU good luck you will need it.

It's a GTX 1070 FE in this case, full stock.
