If people fold for the competition who otherwise would not have folded at all then isn't it still a positive gain even if they stop folding after the competition ends?

^ This
Also in addition to this the Northern Hemisphere will soon be going in to summer weather when a lot of people wind back or stop folding.

Fair!

I can’t even find myself on the daily stat list. I first did, and now CTrl+F shows nothing. I’m not too bothered - probably lost in the ether haha! Folding for the cause is most important

Hi, are you all still experiencing pretty long waiting times to download GPU WUs despite the LTT server being up and running to help distribute them?

Have you set the advanced flag for "client-type'?

I do notice a bit more delay in getting new WU at the moment.

LTT are distributing GRO_A7 WUs (that means CPU WUs)

Unfortunately that last point is a big one. The cost upfront for a system like that where I live is VERY prohibitive. I looked into both options and there is no way I can put up 10k+ USD

That is about to change... if the economy is not hit too hard that is.

Last projections was that in 2025, Solar production will cost less then hydro-electricity (one of the cheapeast way stiil to produce it). The source is Hydro-Quebec.

I did find this article in english: https://sivertimes.com/hydro-quebec-is-facing-a-death-spiral/88869
If solar become cheaper for Quebecers, with one of the cheapeast rate in North America, Imagine what it will be for other locations.

And there is some promising development in technology. Supposedly, some new panels being tested would double the efficiency.

The LLT server is only doing CPU WUs.

Does rubbing the GPU with cheetah blood work?
