There’s a suggestion thread that they actually look at. I had my doubts but the writers do look there.

EDIT #1 (4/8/19): You guys already showcased a prototype "smart helmet" by BMW at CES 2016. Can you please do a full follow-up review with a production unit made by BMW, Skully, or CrossHelmet?

Sorry :(

Probably for the best, especially if people are expecting a video where parts are on back-order and it ends up getting pushed, or it's just a total fail/waste of time after doing some testing. People would be all too expectant for things that would never happen, and thus get very upset.

I mean, it's one thing to say, "YES, we are planning to do a video on it!" and "we added it to our bucket list."

The former leans towards a promise (obviously asking for angry rants of not fulfilled) while the latter is more suggestive of being considered rather than not. In other words, "It's a thought, but no promises. We might make it happen this week or maybe in 10 years."

I kinda wish more developers and creators did more of the latter. ?

Problem with that, is people will take that too literally. People will still expect something to come of it. Kind of like saying to a child maybe you'll get ice cream if you behave tonight. Chances are that ice cream isn't going to happen, it's just something said to get the kid to behave. In the same sense, if someone says "we'll look into it" people will expect a video on the subject matter at some point. I agree, it would be nice to know what's in the docket and even the vault, but for the betterment of the staff and channel as a whole, keeping that information private just saves all the hassle.

I'm still waiting for a collab between you and Alex Steele.

Mainly because I find the idea of you holding a piece of nearly molten steel with tongs and trying to feed it into a power hammer, absolutely hilarious. (because you tend to drop things.)

Could attempt to make a forged damascus steel air cooler for a PC, with his help and your fancy new workshop.

If you want info/hints at what they're working on, follow LTT and staff of Instagram and Twitter. There are occasional posts which show projects in situ. Also WAN show. If it's not embargoed(and even if it is lol) Linus loves to hint at exciting upcoming stuff.
