I can highly recommend DigitalOcean, as I use it for a couple of websites myself. Start off with the one-click LAMP droplet, or even better, set up Apache or NGINX yourself as you've mentioned there's no need for a database or backend.

To me, the main advantage is that I can host as many websites on different domains as I want, without having to pay a hosting fee per website. Also, it's just a Linux box, so you can basically install anything you need at a later stage. Gives you more control over what you're running on the machine, more permissions etc. If you need to scale later, there are also options available for load balancing within DO. Hope this helps ?.

    Good choice.

'Burn-In' is a highly over exagerated issue. even LTT is guilty of constantly bring it up. As you read on Rtings.. its fine so long as ur aware that it can happen and look after ur screen, which if ur payng over 1k for a screen, u should be anyway imo.

As for QLED, its all marketing , ur paying a premium for the name. it isnt even 'proper' Quantom Dot tech anyway. 'Real' quantom dot is self emmisvie.. what QLED using is a layer type QD, which is the easiest and cheapest to produce, it helps and looks betetr than 'normal' LCD ..but its not worth the premium when u can get a OLED.

I own the C7, and am familiar with the C8. The C8's panel does look better with the correct content. It is brighter this year, and newer processor. The B series is only 8 bit compared to 10 bit on the C8.

Do it. You won't be disappointed. Don't get the B.

Rtings has a good review and testing method. I trust their reviews on it.

The ABL should only become an issue in a very bright full screen scenes, which shouldnt be to common.

I currently use Storage Spaces under Server 2012 R2 and it works great. As has already been pointed out don't use any parity configurations performances is horrible. Also note that the mirror options are nothing like traditional mirrors, it means mirror data blocks not disks. This is why you can have many disks in mirror configurations not just two, like RAID 1.

Also in regards to adding disk to an existing pool there is a limitation that is fixed in Server 2016, you can't re-balance data evenly across the disks once the new ones are added. Only new data is spread on to the new disks, Server 2016 has added a re-balance option to solve this issue.

Currently I run two disk pools, one 4x Samsung 850 Pro 512GB for my Steam library and one 2x Samsung 840 Pro 512GB + 5x 3TB HDD with Auto Tier enabled. The SSD only pool is using simple mode and the other pool is using 2-way mirror, I don't care about data on the SSD only pool just speed.

Haha been there mate, I know how that works lol. Except when I moved out my parents house I became that very guy moaning about electricity costs lol. If it helps the microserver uses 50watts under load but yeah I hear ya.

Be careful with the card, its not the OS thats the problem but the BIOS usually doesnt like the Option ROM included on them but the Dell is just a rebadged LSI so you should be good.

Yes I have been there lol,

It totally depends on the card , Here is an example,

I have an Old ( 7 or 8 Y/O HP Server using a P400i Raid card, machine died, unplugged the disk and plugged it into a B210 Controller on a brand new machine and it found it set it up and was running in about 1 minute without even as much as a reboot, Where the problems come is if the hardware craps out and starts writing crap to the disks.

A cheap card wont give you these functions as a direct card would be needed but most HP / Dell. / LSI solutions write the config to a part of the HD so its readable to nearly 90% of other cards in that product line / manufacturer

No problem   . Good luck in finding the best monitor for you, I just ordered the Dell Ultrasharp U2515H. Should be here tomorrow, can't wait  .

thx bro for the recommendation. one thing about my country is that even the biggest it store wont have proper sample for you to try it out, they often use some vga splitter to broadcast the videos which make every single monitor looks like shit and there is no gaming rig hook on to try it out the sweetness of 144hz so i can only gather information about 144hz and nice colour instead of looking at it myself.

I think that it's really a different choice for everyone. I also do some coding in my spare time, and I think I will especially enjoy the additional space this monitor has to offer. I just got a Dell IPS monitor at work (FHD). First time I have ever used an IPS panel, and I really kind of got blown away by it. The thought of buying a new monitor has been playing a while, since I have bought a 980Ti about 2 months ago. This Dell monitor at work seems to have given the final push for me. I see more benefit in an IPS panel than a 144Hz TN panel, cause it all looks pretty shiny  .

I haven't worked with a 144Hz monitor before, and I hear it's pretty cool as well (everything is extremely smooth), but I think the benefit of the higher resolution and nicer colors really outweighs that one benefit of having a 144Hz monitor.

I'd definitely go for the U2515H. I have a 4K monitor, but I run it at 1440p because it's too hard to run in games, and it's too inconvenient for everyday use. Right now, the only benefits of 4K for me is using it for productivity (3D modelling, video editing and such) and watching native 4K content. I'd pick a nice 1440P IPS panel like the U2515H any day now.

I wouldn't exactly call them great, but they've done the job I've
asked them to do so far. They're quiet, don't consume a lot of
power and I haven't had any issues.
One thing I noticed about both the Reds and the Seagate NAS drives:
They're certified to run at higher temps than other drives (even
the enterprise ones), up to 70 deg C IIRC. Presumably to make them
suitable for NAS enclosures with bad airflow?
But in the end, the Red primarily seems to be a Green with some
slight changes to the hardware and a different firmware, not the
reinvention of the wheel. Then again, unless you have some very
special requirements, an HDD is an HDD is an HDD for the most
part in today's market, the differences aren't really all that
    significant in most consumer scenarios.

Yeah, I'd estimate any drive with an aggressive spin-down policy
is really unsuited for being run on a RAID controller, as it's
too easily dropped from the array. I haven't really read about any
issues with software RAID yet though, would be very curious about
    that.

Xploda got a reaction from TheMarius97 in [Solved]do...loop in java (?)
The only "do while loop" which exists in Java is this one.
The only other loops I can think of in Java are the for loop and for each loop (for loop without counter which just goes through all elements).

    Hope this helps  .

Edit: you always need a condition in your loop so that it can exit, otherwise you will have an infinite loop which just crashes your application. So yes, a loop without condition would be pretty useless  .
